Vanya woke up at 8, making up her mind the night before that she would be the first one to get ready and reach first. It was 9 am by the time she got ready.
She knocked on Rudransh's door, hearing no response she put her ear on the door trying to hear something from the other side when she heard someone clearing her throat behind her.
"Who are we eavesdropping on??" She closed her eyes mentally cursing herself as she knew whose voice it was, smiling awkwardly she turned towards the person who was none other than Rudransh.
'Why does he always have to come at such a time only' she thought to herself.
"Woh you didn't open the door so I th-thought-"
"You thought what?" he replied, seeing her stutter.
While Vanya was all panicking, Rudransh was having fun seeing her in this condition.
"Yeah yeah say sunflower what were you thinking"
"I-I thoughtyouwerestillasleepsoIthoughttowakeyouup"
"What?" he asked amusingly.
"Kuch bhi toh nahi, jaldi ready ho jao varna hum late hojayenge aapki wajah se" She tried to sound a little angry but her voice was anything but angry.
"I'll be down in 20 mins" he said curtly moving to his room.
"Bach gayi," Vanya said, sighing.
'She is too cute, her antics and the way she panicked when I caught her was all worth seeing. No wonder everyone loves her but she'll be mine and mine only'. Rudransh thought while getting ready to go downstairs.
Vanya was seated on the breakfast table when Rudransh decided to join her. The breakfast table was silent until the waiter came and asked
"Would you like anything else ma'am?I ho-" he was interrupted by Rudransh
"We had a great time here thank you, you can now leave".
Vanya frowned on seeing Rudransh's reaction but smiled at the waiter.
It was almost 10:30 am when they finished having breakfast. The luggage was already kept in the car by the staff.
Rudransh opened the car door for her and seated himself beside her.
The airport was an hour away from the hotel. Vanya was scrolling on instagram when her phone was snatched by Rudransh.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm saving my number,what if you get lost somewhere"
"Do I look like a kid to you?" she said getting offended
"You are a kid, no doubt on that"
"You-you are so annoying, hey mahadev bachao mujhe inse"
"Sorry sunflower but you are stuck with me," he said, winking at me.
"Sun-what"
'Why is this giving me all butterflies in my stomach'
'He probably has some effect on you, like the fictional men have over their girl' My subconscious mind has something or the other to say everytime.
She came out of her chain of thoughts when Rudransh replied
"Sunflower darling, my sunflower," staring at her.
