Formidable Love

CHAPTER 6

The car ride to the Ron's house was peaceful with Al grooving and dancing on her favorite music also making me laugh on her weird ass moves. I helped her get off from the car when we reached his house whisperering a small thank you I help her get off, the house was buzzing with loud music as our steps neared to the pool area.

I saw Ron walk up to us engulfing Al in a hug and my immediate thoughts were to break off his arms he then patted me on my shoulder and said "I would've invited you myself but since there was a time crunch and the party just happened in a rush I thought it would be nice to have Al ask you. I figured out that you won't say no to her hence you'll be forced to come" laughing towards the end.

"Oh there's nothing to worry about that and yess Al's got a face that you can't say no to" I said smiling to him "Anyways I hope you both enjoy the party I need to attend few other people as well" he walked away winking towards the end to Al to which she rolled her eyes.

"Luciano I figured out you'll be left alone if I'm not there with you so I asked Enzo to join us as well" she said and oh boy that did piss me off so bad and that fucker didn't think it was important enough to tell me that now I understand the look on his face "I don't think so he'll be able to make it to the party, I was told by him that he's got some work to do" I said "Turns out you're wrong look around" she said turning me around holding my arms and there comes my big bad brother fixing his "hero hair" the urge to just punch him every second in the day just keeps growing everyday how the fuck did he manage to come here when he's got a goddamn task to be done with and according to my knowledge it would've taken him all night to finish it.

I know he could tell by the look on my face that how baffled I am to see him standing infront of me and he sure as fuck is enjoying the view right now, I promise to give it back to him double the amount of shock I'm having currently. "Miss me?" He said with a smirk on his face "Someone will surely do if you're not done with the things you were assigned to do" I said gritting my teeth trying to compose my anger as much as I can "What things" Al asked with curiosity oblivious to the tension building up between the two of us, before Enzo could come up with another clever idea to embarrass the both of us I interrupted "Dad asked us to go through a client's file then have it discussed with the client so he doesn't face any issues" Al's mouth formed an o shape and I further continued "Yeah Enzo being such a deal breaker will have to face the consequences alone" I said glaring at him,
"Well you brother's shall continue with your disagreements or whatever I need to find Lola" with that being said she disappeared into the crowd.

"What the fuck is actually wrong with you" I said almost on the edge of slamming his head in a wall nearby "I lost them on the way and guess where the ran to?" He asked, not being in the mood to play 10 questions why I continued looking at him.

Enzo sad over the fact that I didn't bother to ask why circled his finger around and spoke "Here. They are in search of you when I saw them they said that Davide sent the wrong son and with that being said they ran off" Enzo then continued with a shift in tone "They knew that you're going to be here and they won't know unless they had someone follow you and you being a lovesick puppy was ignorant about it the whole time."

Enzo pulled me in a corner grabbing my collar and said in an alarming tone "Don't you get it you're not the only one at risk, she became you're responsibility the day you set your eyes on her. Stay the fuck away from her or she'll end up having the same fate as of mom" and just like that pushing me back against the wall he went in search of those men.

The mention of mom resurfaced all those dark memories which I had myself push to some corner part of my brain. I could physically feel the pain in my chest making it difficult to walk any further.

Enzo and I have been those typical mommy boy's, she was the only one who made that hell of a house called worthy of home and when she died she took every ounce of light from our lives sending us all in a pit of darkness until Alessia came back in my life all over again when I lost all hope of ever seeing her.

That very day I made a promise to myself to have her never look past my dark life that she'd be safe and I'd never end up making those same mistakes that my father did.

Even after all my efforts this day made me realize how it all went in vain and one tiny shit move of mine could be death of me because if something wrong happens to her I'm as good as dead.

It wasn't time to dwell in my self-made guilt about everything that happened it was time to make things better hence picking up my pace I went on to find Enzo so we could come up with a goddamn plan.
