Luciano drives me back home even so he's pissed more than anything he cannot keep his hands to himself. All the way back home he kept caressing my thighs giving it a light squeeze at one point I was least bothered.

On noticing that he used to crawl his way up terribly close to the lining of my underwear then being pleased with the kind of reaction he wanted out of me he slowly made his way back to my thighs.

He was unstirred with the kinds of glares I threw at him his focus all on the road which is absolutely not true. I could watch the amusement on his face which he's effortlessly plastered all over himself.

"We're not doing anything unless you tell me everything about it" I speak gaining his attention and if I thought that I could torment him this way, I was undoubtedly wrong.

"You and I both know that's not going to work" he smirks stating the obvious.
"Well it will now" laughing at my words he shakes his head sideways "Seriously Al, that's the best you can come up with? A no nut week or month" I shut my lips folding my arms moving sideways facing the window.

The car screeched coming to a halt Luciano removes his seat belt as he pulls me our faces inches apart  "Don't turn away from me Cicci" he groaned cupping my cheeks he said "You wouldn't like the truth" he confesses.

I could see an unknown fear flash through his eyes momentarily "Let me love you for who you really are instead of some false image you form infront of me" I slam the door shut as I walk into my house.

I might have overstepped in this situation but I'm unable to take soo many unsolved mystery all at once.
Piero steps out of his room all dressed up as I wolf whistle gaining his attention "Someone earned himself a date" I tease, laughing at my words he walks up to me.

"Got to level up my game, don't I?" Flicking my forehead he runs off. I rub my forehead a bit then crashed my body on the bed.
The room was awfully quiet and for once the silence slowly ate me up piece by piece. I recall Piero's smiling face and wondered whether I'm doing the right thing by digging up the past.

The history have taught us enough how digging up past graves work out. In most cases it has proven to be fruitful yet there are instances where the revelation scars the soul of the person, this way you need to carry those scars as long as you live.

Once again I'm left pondering whether I need to know the nightmares of my past which is buried deep inside my head. The deeper I dwell into my head the more it'll pain but I do not wish to be my mother who keeps shut and play the role of an ignorant doll.
I search for my phone and dial her number, the answer to my problems will no longer hide itself ,
"Dr Kimberly I need you to schedule a meeting tomorrow whatever time you find fit."
"I will ask for my manager to do so."
"Text me the details."

I heave out a big sigh when my phone pinged with Luciano's text "Talk to me please" tugging myself in bed I watch his message not bothering to reply but a strange set of emotions stirred inside me.

Another message came in which read "I'll tell you how I know about your visit to Dr. Kimberly" the moment I finished reading it his name flashed on my screen.

Fifteen minutes into the call and there was utter silence not one word was spoken till now giving up I almost went to hang up when he spoke up "I watched you leave from your house" grabbing hold the phone I remove the sheets as I walk out of the bed standing infront of the window.
My sight wanders around the garden with the guards evenly spread out but something unusual caught my eye. I watch my father and Davide taking a stroll in the garden buried deep in a conversation that's what it seemed like when my father so swiftly slips in a gun in his hands which he gladly takes.

In the haze of the scene unfolding infront of me Luciano's voice fazed out, it was only after multiple attempts of his which made me come out of the trance "Hey what's wrong?" Concern palpable in his voice it took me a moment to regain my composure when I spoke "You're father's here" I could almost picture the surprised crossed his face.

"Yes uh with the elections coming in your father needs as much support as he can gain" the lie comes out soo naturally which left me pondering of the many lies he could've said to me while he keeps me in the dark.

"I saw them taking a stroll in the garden"
"Al I want to talk about us"
"Then talk" I could sense the feeling of estrangement from my voice nevertheless I didn't give it much thought,
"I don't want us to change so don't push me away" the hold on my phone wavered holding back a sob but failed miserably.

Tears streaming down my face lips quivering as I try not to make a sound "Al please talk to me you're driving me nuts!" I could hear the desperation in his tone "Are you crying? Fuck Al please just tell me I'll fix everything" instead I hang up the phone.

I'm tired of being fed with lies and coming from the ones I love pains me deeply. Out of all I expected Luciano to be true to me yet I find him just like the others sealing away the truth.

I rushed out of my room in hurry and enter his room at once "I need you to tell me whatever little you remember about that night" Piero eyed me up and down in question "Do you remember something?" Piero walks to the mirror as he looks at himself closely.

"No I don't but I think there's something more to the Montanari's link to our family"
"I think the same" Piero stated still watching himself intently upon catching my gaze he spoke "There are times I don't seem to recognize the face in the mirror. I mean I know it's me but again something is eerily disturbing like I know this person yet I also don't" watching my puzzled face he sits back with a thud in frustration "I'm not going crazy Alessia don't fucking look at me like that" he yells.

Slowly approaching his figure I pat his back "These days I've been feeling quite the same as if I'm driving myself to the edge of insanity. I need your help and with the people around me I can only trust you with the things I discovered in these two weeks" he now looks at me with same puzzled look I had few seconds back "Walk me through it darling" he said in a british accent to lighten up the mood.

When I reached the end of the tale he was startled with the kind of information he just took in,
"So what now?" He questions.
"Let's dig up the past, shall we?" His eyes gleamed with excitement like a puppy given his favorite food. We were both equally aware of what the future holds once the truth uncovers itself and as much as it's going to hurt we won't be the one to sit back in the dark to let the others toy with us.
