"Can you please drive a little bit faster?" Deepika impatiently begged the taxi driver. "I'm going to miss my flight!"

"Darling, relax. I won't get you late. Promise." the middle-aged man looked at her through the mirror and winked.

Deepika looked at him in disgust and slumped in her seat. She looked out the window sighing as she observed the busy streets of LA. In a little bit she would be leaving sunny Los Angeles for Australia.

Deepika had been saving up and looking forward to this trip for months. It was the last year of college and Mrs. Sonya, the head of geography decided planning a trip to the beautiful country would be a great idea for any students who were interested in going. Deepika always wanted to visit Australia and what better way was there to but with her friends?

Once arriving at LAX, Deepika pushed the door to the cab open and rushed out. She quickly grabbed her large stroller bag and placed it on the ground. She then dug into her bag for money to give it to the driver. Once she slapped some bills into his hand, she hurriedly dragged her suitcase behind her and entered the airport.

On arriving at the designated terminal, she saw a big group of people near the area where the couches were placed. As she came closer to the herd, she recognized the people as from her college. In the middle was Mrs. Sonya going over some instructions.

Mrs. Sonya was a woman in her forties. She was very out-going and spontaneous. She always wore bright patterned clothes to match with her personality. Her short hair was hazelnut brown with blonde streaks that ran through it and today a pair of sunglasses rested on top of it.

"Deepika! There you are." Mrs. Sonya smiled.

"Sorry there was traffic." she gave a small smile back.

"No problem at all. As long as you're not late."

Deepika nodded and met eyes with her best friend Nolee. Her face brightened up instantly and she made her way to her.

"Deeps!" Nolee hugged her. "How excited are you?"

"Too excited!" Deepika embraced her tightly. "My childhood dream is finally coming true."

"Oh my God I know right? You used to go on and on about how much you wanted to visit Australia and now look!"

Deepika had met Nolee Sanders during freshman year in high school. The two had instantly clicked in drama class over the topic of Bollywood movies. Deepika being Indian, was a big fan of Bollywood. She had grown up watching the movies just starting from the young of three. Nolee, a Japanese-American had always been fascinated by other cultures. She was introduced to Indian movies by her brother's girlfriend who was Indian, and she had instantly loved the whole concept of singing and dancing conjoined with acting with the immense amount of colours that were used in the films.

"Nothing is going to ruin this trip. I'm sure of it." Deepika grinned widely.

"Oh God." Mrs. Sonya loudly sighed.

"What happened Miss?" Leo, a brunette haired boy asked on seeing the teacher stressed.

"We're still waiting on one more person. We need to start checking in soon."

Toby, a slim brown haired boy chuckled. "He's always late. But don't worry Mrs. Sonya, I'm sure he's on his way."

"I hope so."

"Who are we waiting for?" Deepika asked Nolee.

"I'm not sure." Nolee shrugged her shoulders as she played with her long straight black hair.

"Anyway, we totally need to sightsee and shop there. I literally saved up almost double just to spend it on shopping."

"Of course Deeps! I might just waste all my time at the malls there being the shopaholic I am." Nolee giggled.

"Oh please no. We have so many things to look at over there."

"Then you'll have to drag me out of them." Nolee nudged Deepika with her shoulder.

"I gladly will." Deepika chuckled.

"He's here Mrs. Sonya!" Fiona, a blonde haired girl chirped excitedly.

"I have arrived!" a thick accented voice announced.

Deepika froze in her seat and widened her eyes on hearing the boy's voice. That voice could not be mistaken. She only knew of one person who sounded like that. "Please tell me that is not who I think it is."

Nolee, who's face was masked with shock also tilted her head sideways so she could see past Deepika. "I'm sorry Deeps." she apologetically said.

Deepika shut her eyes and slowly turned around. Once she opened them, her eyes were met with a boy dressed in a white shirt with a black leather jacket over it completing the look with black jeans and combat boots. His raven coloured hair was pushed back with his sunglasses. He wore his backpack on one shoulder while his larger bag was resting near his legs. A large smile was pasted on his lips which made Deepika scowl.

It was her arch nemesis, the one and only Zayn Malik.
