17th September

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY LANI"

Rolling out my bed I landed on the floor with a thud. Rubbing my head I sat up to and saw Lynn looking at me shocked and Jordan at the door laughing hysterically.

"It's really not that funny"

Getting up I rubbed my bum and was tackled to the floor; turns out we're gonna be great friends

"You're finally 16 Lani! Come on get ready everyone's waiting downstairs"

She jumped off me and walked out of my room pulling a still laughing Jordan and leaving me still on the floor. Sighing I hulled myself off the floor and pulled out matching underwear, a black camisole and a pair of high waisted shorts picking up my clothes and towel I walked into the bathroom and had a quick shower, brushed my teeth and washed my face. Pulling on my clothes I walked back to my room and started blow drying my hair and putting on a bit of mascara. Walking down the stairs the waft of breakfast had me tripping over my feet while trying to run down them. Finally reaching the kitchen mum had the whole table filled with pancakes, waffles, sausages, bacon, eggs and a mug that says 'Birthday Girl' filled with steamy hot chocolate.

"Morning all"

Mum was the first to run up to me and engulfing me in a hug, "Good morning Lanette, My little girls sixteen!"

I was pulled out of my mum's grip and into a bear hug by my dad, "Happy birthday baby girl"

I hugged him back as he planted a kiss on the top of my head and sat down in his usual place at the kitchen counter.

Sitting in between my dad and Jordan, he leaned over giving me a one armed hug and a brief 'happy birthday' before digging into his breakfast. Lynn was bouncing up and down in her seat until Jordan rested and hand on her knee and gave her a look. A sheepish grin formed on her face and she sat down as still as possible. Finishing breakfast the 3 of us head out to school; Stepping into the building a few people we passed by called out a happy birthday.

School ended on a high note for once, no homework and no one bothered me all day. Jordan dropped me and Lynn at her house before heading home. Walking in their mansion- it shouldn't be classed as a house- the 'alpha' was sitting in the living room, talking to Lynn's parent's but they stopped as soon as they saw Lynn walk in and tensed up when they saw me.

"Hi all me and Lanette are gonna be upstairs getting ready"

"Ok and happy birthday Lanette"

"Thank you ma'am"

She sent me a brief smile before Lynn dragged me upstairs to her princess sized room. Jumping on her four posted canopy bed she started going through her wardrobe looking for something to wear tonight.

"What do you think Jason's hear for?"

"I dunno did you do something to upset his son... again?"

"No I haven't done anything to Danny Boy in ages"

"You poured chocolate milk over his head last week!"

"Yeah... as I said ages"

She sent me a smirk before throwing a dark blue fitted dress with sleeves made out of a chiffon material and a low cut neckline. Pointing to her on suite bathroom she barked out, "Go"

Sighing I got up from my comfortable spot and walked into the bathroom changing out of my clothes to the dress before walking back to her room.

"Ooooooh girl you look HOT"
