Chapter 5

2 months 3 weeks 5 days and 5 hours since Tyler rejected me, and nothing has been able to cheer me up. Lynn and Jordan tried to help me the first few weeks but realised I wasn't getting any happier, Tyler has managed to move on with his life, he's still going out with Eris who is loving it and going round telling everyone they're mates. The first time I heard it was like a chunk of the little piece of heart I have left was ripped.

Flashback

"Come on Lani you can't let that prick bring you down so much he doesn't know what he's missing out on"

"You don't understand Lynn your mate accepted you with wide arms whereas mine called me a dirty half breed and rejected you will NEVER understand"

"I know Lani but you're my best friend I want to be here for you please don't push me away"

"I-I'll try Lynn but it hurts so much"

I sped up my pace down the corridor letting her know I didn't want to talk anymore. Walking into the girls toilets locked myself in a cubicle, and let the tears run down my face. Why should I be the one who no one loves it's not my fault I'm the way I am. The bathroom door opened and chatter wafted through the air.

"No Georgette you are not going brunette you'll look like a freak"

I would recognise that voice anywhere. Eris Black. That bitch has been cuddled up with Tyler ever since he rejected me. I held back a growl when I heard his name.

"So Eris how Tyler?"

"Well obviously he's amazing with me"

They both started laughing.

"What's it like being with him, is he sweet or boring"

"Well how can anything be boring when you're round your mate?"

What!?! No! He's Mine!

"Oh-em-gee! Has he marked you yet?"

I could hear the excitement in Georgette's voice thinking of her friend getting marked

"No not yet, he said he wanted to make it special"

An inaudible growl rumbled in my chest and my hands clenched at by my sides forcing myself not to turn.

"Aww that's so sweet"

"Mmm I guess but I kinda just want it over and done with"

"What's wrong with it being romantic"

"Well I don't care about romance I mean he's the beta's son why can't he mark me and just get it over with"

So she doesn't even care for him! I gritted my teeth and willed the sensation to turn away. I faintly heard the clicking of heels leave the bathroom and the door swish shut. A painful scream left my lips and I punched the door leaving and huge dent in it. Sliding down to the floor I started crying again. I don't understand why he can't love me.

**END OF FLASHBACK***

I rolled back up in a foetal position tears leaking down my face. My door was forced open and banged against the wall and a furious looking Lynn walked in ripping the covers off my body making my curl in more.

"Lanette get the hell up"

"Lynn leave me alone"

"Hell no! It's been what 2 months since he rejected you and I know you're hurting baby girl but don't let him win"

"Lynn leave it alone"

"NO! Get up and stop being so pathetic"

Jumping out my bed and getting in her face I stared her down and let out all my frustration
