" I THINK I see a stream up ahead!" Ataraxia states, pointing in front of them.

"Looks like it." Willow reply's calmly. "We should fill up our water supply and then get back to a tree. Lakes or streams, or anywhere with water, really, are generally where people die." Willow added.

"Wow. Your just Mrs. Optimistic today, aren't you." Ataraxia commented sarcastically.

The pair finally made it to the stream and Ataraxia jumped in the water. Wow. I really can't be away from water for long- can I? She thought to herself.

As Willow was filling up the canteens and Ataraxia was messing around in the water, cleaning off the blood from district six's tribute they heard voices nearby. Before Ataraxia or Willow could run and hide, the tributes burst into the clearing.

"I know right-" The girl from district ten stopped in the middle of her sentance as she spotted the two tributes in the stream.

"It's Four and seven" The male tribute whispered.

"I don't know why you're whispering. Were right here. We can see you smartass." Ataraxia yelled.

Finnick groaned loudly. "Godddd! Her smart mouth is gonna get her killed!!" he yelled as he watched Ataraxia and Willow encounter Bruce and Sabine from district ten.

"Relax Fin! It might just end up saving her. You never know!" Millia said.

"Yeah, But right now It's about to get her killed. She can't really be saved if she's already fucking dead!" He shouted.

"FINNICK." Millia yelled. "SNAP OUT OF IT." she added. That sure shut finnick up.

"OUR TRIBUTE IS OUT THERE. STILL. SHE MIRACULOUSLY MADE IT THROUGH THE BLOODBATH, AND NOW SHE'S KILLING TWO MORE TRIBUTES, MUCH HELP YOU'VE BEEN. ALL YOU'VE DONE. IS SIT HERE, WHINING, AND SAYING EVERY LITTLE THING THAT COULD GO WRONG. SHE IS A SMART GIRL, FINNICK. SHE CAN WIN THIS. BUT YOU NEED TO SHUT THE FUCK UP AND BELIEVE IN HER. OR GET YOUR ASS UPSTAIRS TO GAIN HER MORE SPONSORS. EITHER WAY. SHUT. UP" Millia shouted.

Finnick sighed and nodded.

"Wait she's killing two tributes?" He asked, finally realizing what she had said, which made Millia roll her eyes, mime stabbing herself, and fall back onto the couch.

Before Ataraxia knew it, her hand was in her jacket pocket and gripping the knife. As the male tribute began his move to kill Willow, Ataraxia threw the knife at his neck. It missed. It went a few inches lower then intended, but still struck the boy in the heart, killing him instantly.

Willow then stood up and removed the knife throwing it to Ataraxia, Willow knew that it would take too long for her to load her gun and one of them would be dead by the time she actually did it, Ataraxia with a knife would at least give us a fighting chance. Thought Willow.

Nonetheless she was right.

The girl lunged at Ataraxia and tackled her into the water, holding her under for at least five minutes, Is she really that stupid? Trying to drown, a tribute from district four, which is surrounded by water? Willow thought. At some point Ataraxia had managed to stab her in the neck.

Standing up breathlessly, Ataraxia pulled out the knife and thought to herself as she left the water. "Holy shit." She mumbled. "I just... killed. Two kids." She added, face full of pain.

In the distance, two canons go off. Then another three, and then one more before the arena goes quiet. Too Quiet. Thats when the horror begins.

Instantaneously Finnick hears voices screaming throughout the arena. That wasn't odd, However it was weird, that the screams weren't from anyone in the arena. At least not yet. "Jabberjays." Finnick muttered as he heard himself screaming for Ataraxia through the screen.

"ROXI!" Finnicks voice could be heard screaming.

"FINNICK?!" She screamed back, frantically.

Finnicks voice continued yelling her name, it was in pain, he was suffering. And it was all to torture her. All of a sudden she broke down sobbing in the middle of everything. Whispering "It's not real." or "Please don't hurt him, He's all I have left" repeatedly, holding her hands over her ears to try and stop the echos of Finnicks pained screams.

She stayed that way until the birds finally stopped.

"It's not real. It's not real" Finnick heard Ataraxia mumbling as she broke down next to a tree. It hurt him so much that he couldn't be there to comfort her. And then he heard it. The last thing she said before everything stopped, the jabberyjays, the world, even time seemed to stop this moment.

"Please don't hurt him. He's all I have left."

A tear fell from Finnicks eyes as he watched her bury her head in her hands and rock slowly back and forth whispering that same sentence over and over again until the jabberjays finally stopped with their torture.

After the Jabberyjays ended their torturous songs Ataraxia sat in silence, fiddling with her necklace for minutes, minutes then turned into hours, and she didn't care when she heard another canon sound. Suddenly a quiet beeping noise flew through her ears. She looked up and spotted a parachute on it's way down to her. She took hold of it as soon as it was in reach, and opened the capsule.

Inside, there was not much, simply a pack of dry food. She pulled it out, confused. I already have like, eight of these, why would Finnick or Millia send me this of all things? She thought, that was, until she noticed the small piece of paper in the bottom. She slowly reached in and plucked it from the box with her nimble fingers. Opening it cautiously, she read the paper.

just breathe.

-love finnick.

So thats what it meant. Ataraxia looked back to the trident necklace and stared down at the engravings. "Love, Finnick" She mumbled, so quietly she was sure that nobody could hear. She sat down next to the tree once again, and began nibbling on the dried food, huh, I guess I was hungry. She thought. Slowly calming herself down over what had happened hours before she took Finnicks advice, and breathed. In and out. Just like he told her too on the roof.

That night was only three days ago, though it seemed like years. She smiled at the thought and continued fidgeting with the necklace and staring at it in wonder. "Love Finnick" She mumbled again.

Finnick's mood was immediately brought up when Ataraxia received the sponsor, She opened the note and Finnick watched her features as she read it. She then glanced down at her necklace. She figured it out. Finnick thought.

He watched her fidget with the necklace for a solid minute before the game makers clearly thought this was too boring and switched the screen to the career tributes, who where currently hunting Ataraxia, Willow, and some kid named Samuel from District six.

Finally, Willow came running into the clearing she was sat at. "We're ending this." She stated. "Tonight."
