When Lucas got all the answers he needed he sped away from the club and outstretched his hand to the road to call for a taxi.

He was about to ask Andrea questions; starting with: why was there a glass shard used to kill Sonya Alora? Second question was: who else knew about the glass shard? Third question: did she know about the murder or the role the glass shard played in the murder?

He knocked on the dorm room door, no reply. He knocked again, still no reply. He decided to just get his card out and open the door himself, maybe Andrea was sleeping, and Kaia was away somewhere. He didn't care because all he was focusing on was to open the door and to demand answers from Andrea.

Lucas hastily opened the door, almost tripping on his shoelaces as he was doing so. He put his card on the table beside the doorway and kicked his shoes off.

"Hey, Andrea, can I ask you something?" He asked out to the room. But when he saw who was sitting on the couch waiting for him he nearly doubled over in shock.

Theodore.

How did he get there so quickly? Never mind, why was he there?

"Why didn't you tell me about Xavier?" Theodore suddenly asked Lucas, even though his eyes were dead set on the very 'interesting' table in front of him.

"Theodore, we aren't exactly close friends. We've known each other for a few months." Lucas answered.

"Xavier was my best friend, I deserved to know, Lucas." Lucas noted how Theodore said his name like it was poison.

"Well, how was I to know I could trust you? You have a big mouth."

"I can keep a secret just fine, thanks." Theodore said bitterly.

"Not to mention the fact that you take everything as a joke." Lucas retorted.

"I'm serious at times."

"Not just take, but what you say to. Whatever you say is also a fucking joke."

"I love you."

Lucas stood there numbly; he couldn't believe his ears. Lucas would've thought Theodore was joking if it wasn't for the way he was sitting there on the couch quietly.

"What." Lucas said as he was reeling from the shock.

"I love you, Lucas." Theodore repeated himself, this time adding Lucas' name.

"Theodore." Lucas said, because that was the only thing he could say right now. All plans and questions he initially needed to ask faded away and the only thing in his brain was Theodore. He opened his mouth to say more but was interrupted.

A loud rumbling noise, then another. Then long, slender cracks suddenly appearing on the walls. An earthquake was happening, a big one. Lucas immediately grabbed Theodore's arm and they both ran like hell.
