Writer's Notes:
'Prometheus Bound' is definitely my favourite story I've ever written, and ending it leaves a bittersweet feeling for me. I found myself relating to some of my characters, for example, Kaia, Ophelia, and Ricard. And I've loved each character unconditionally; including ones that didn't get much story-time like Sonya and Zahra.
I have some ideas for a second and maybe even third story following up 'Prometheus Bound', but for now I'll most likely be focusing on another story I have a vague idea of. The idea to write 'Prometheus Bound' sparked when I finished reading M. L. Rio's If We Were Villains, mainly getting inspiration from the dark academia vibes with a side of murder mystery.
Unlocking The Vault:
'Unlocking The Vault' will just be a page full of scrapped ideas, original names, thoughts I had, and additional information connected to 'Prometheus Bound'.
· Theodore's dad died because of a car crash he had going to work; he was stressed out because of an initial fight he had with Theodore's mum.
· Andrea doesn't like being around drunk people because both her parents died due to drinking too much, after her parents died she lives with her aunt.
· Xavier's name was originally James, Kaia's was Nakia and Sonya's was Sage.
· Rosemary and Zahra have a black cat named Richard.
· Ophelia was originally supposed to confess to Richard about her feelings at the hangout, but I thought it would be more impactful if she never had the chance to.
· Andrea was supposed to die, but I felt it made more sense if Kaia did.
· At some point, I thought about giving Richard an ex that broke his heart. Which led to why he didn't want to date, but it clashed with Richard being aromantic.
· I wanted Lucas and Kaia to be extremely good friends, making both Theodore and Andrea thinking they were dating and show Theodore and Andrea's jealous sides.
· Kaia's favourite colour is purple because it was the symbol of richness, and she never had that growing up.
