Maddie walked up to the Console, there was nobody there. “Oh old girl, do you know where the others are?”
The Tardis hummed.
“Yeah, you know.” Maddie comment. “Can you give a tour of the Doctor's home? You old girl.”
The Tardis hummed.
“Oh you can.” Maddie smiled. “Thank you, so where do we start?”
The Tardis hummed loudly.
“Oh, I need to walk now, so you can lead.” Maddie comment.
The Tardis hummed.
“Okay.” Maddie comment as then she walked out of the console room and into the hallway. “So where are we going?”
The Tardis hummed as there was a light at the end on the left.
“So I need to go there?” Maddie asked. “Okay, but I don’t want to see Rose, that human is jealous as a goldfish.”
The Tardis hummed in agreement.
“Yeah, she is.” Maddie snored as she walked towards the light. “But I like Mickey, he isn’t jealous. And he’s cool.”
The Tardis hummed loudly, sounding happily.
“Oh you think so too?” Maddie asked as there was a happy noise. “Oh, you really do? Cool.”
The Tardis hummed happily.
“Hihi.” Maddie laughed as then she arrived by the light on the left. “What inside?”
The Tardis made a noise.
“Oh, i need to figure it out myself then?” Maddie asked to herself. Then she opened the door and went inside. She blinked as she saw books. “I’m in the library? Cool! But why would the Doctor need a library? He goes everywhere in the universe.” She frowned.
The Tardis hummed. She couldn’t speak. The hum was a bit sad.
“Oh, old girl. You don’t need to be sad. I know you can’t talk. But have you ever tried telepathic?” Maddie asked.
The Tardis hummed in confusion.
“You have never tried that? After all these years? You never thought to try that?” Maddie asked.
The Tardis hummed loudly, sounding angry now.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to make you angry. I’m just curious, that’s all.” Maddie told her.
The Tardis hummed calmly right about now.
“Okay, so is there a good book?” Maddie asked, curious.
The Tardis hummed.
“There is?”
She hummed again.
“Nice, so where is it?” Maddie asked. There was a bright light on the right. She looked at it. “You want me to go there?”
The Tardis hummed happily.
“Okay.” Maddie comment as she walked towards it. It was a book on the Time War. “Why this book? Its not a happy one, so why?”
The Tardis hummed sadly.
“It’s my history.” Maddie realized.
She hummed.
“Can I take it back to my room, so i can read whenever I like?” Maddie asked carefully.
The Tardis hummed in agreement.
“Alrighty, i will take it with me then.” Maddie grabbed the book. “But what about the Doctor? Wouldn’t he noticed it was gone?”
The was a hologram book.
“Oh.” Maddie comment. Then she walked out of the library. Holding the book into her. “Is there more to see?”
The Tardis hummed loudly.
“Do i need to place the book in my room first?” Maddie asked.
The Tardis hummed in agreement.
“Okay.” Maddie replied.
-----------------
After the book was in Maddie’s room, she stepped outside the door, into the hallway. “Okay, old girl. Where to now?”
The Tardis hummed and there was a light on a head to the right.
“What’s there?” Maddie asked.
The Tardis hummed.
“Okay, I need to find out myself then?” Maddie asked, sighing.
The Tardis hummed in agreement.
Maddie walked towards it. “I know where the kitchen is. And the room full of clothes and now the library, so what could it be?”
The Tardis hummed.
“I’m curious.” Maddie comment as she was getting closer. And closer. Until she was there and opened the door. “Its a swimming pool, why do you have a swimming pool?”
The Tardis hummed sounding like, she was scoffing.
Maddie looked sorry. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to upset you. I just don’t understand, even my mother doesn’t have it.”
The Tardis hummed loudly.
“Sorry.” Maddie comment sad. “I don’t think my mother has it. I have never seen it, its all.”
The Tardis hummed in agreement.
“Oh, you don’t too.” Maddie comment.
She hummed again.
Maddie nodded. “Okay, lovely.”
She hummed again.
“So where to now?” Maddie asked.
The Tardis hummed in confusion.
“You don’t know?” Maddie asked. The Tardis made a noise. “Oh, there are many rooms then?” Another noise. “Okay, does the Doctor have a room?”
The Tardis hummed happily.
“He does?” Maddie exclaimed. “Where?” The Tardis made a noise. “I can’t know?”
The Tardis hummed in disagreement
“Oh, it isn’t that?” Maddie asked. The Tardis made a noise. “So what is it?”
The Tardis hummed loudly.
“Is the Doctor close by then?” Maddie asked.
The Tardis hummed in agreement.
“Oh he is. And he’s coming my way then?” Maddie asked.
The Tardis hummed in agreement again.
“Great, then we can talk.” Maddie comment.
The Tardis hummed loudly.
“Oh you made that happen? Didn’t you?” Maddie asked to her. Then the Tardis made a noise. “Oh you did!” She called. “Oh, old girl.”
Just then the Doctor walked into the room. “Oi, I didn’t want to go to this room!”
Maddie laughed at him. The Doctor looked at her. “Sorry, old girl made it happen so we would talk.”
The Tardis hummed in agreement.
“Why would she do that?” The Doctor asked confused. “We were going to talk after al, so why?”
The Tardis hummed loudly.
“I think she thought you would have avoided it. Just for a few days longer.” Maddie replied to him. Then the Tardis hummed in agreement. “See?!”
The Doctor groaned. “Bummer.”
“Doctor!” Maddie shouted to him. “Please, can we just talk?”
The Doctor looked at her. “Yes.” He nodded.
------------------
They went out of the swimming pool and went to the kitchen. They sat down as the Doctor spoke up. “What do you want to know?”
“Did you get the same weird feeling, like you found your other half?” Maddie asked. “Cause that’s what I felt, when we touched hands. My mother told me that’s only the beginning of the soulmate bond. And also I think you lied to my mother. You said you had never found it, but then you met me.” She rambled.
The Doctor stared at her. “I wasn’t really lying, I just didn’t tell your mother that I found it now. I didn’t understand it first, i have lost all of my people...”
Maddie grabbed his hand. “I understand. My mother lost it as well. It would have been a shock to you.”
“Yes, when I found out that I still have one.” The Doctor nodded.
Maddie squeezed in his hand. “Its okay, Doctor. Take the time, we have all the time in the world. But don’t take it to long.”
He nodded. “I understand very much.”
“We can get to know each other with without getting all awkwardly.” Maddie comment.
He nodded again. “We can. And you mother told you all about soulmates?”
“She did as I had said it much earlier.” Maddie replied. “Why?”
“Nothing.” The Doctor replied to her.
Maddie nodded. “Okay, so a cup of tea then?”
“Yes.” The Doctor comment as then he stood up. But the tea was already. “I think the Tardis beat me to it.”
Maddie looked at him. “Yeah, she did.”
The Doctor served the tea for her and himself as then he gave one cup to her. “Here.”
She took it. “Thanks.”
The Doctor sat down again. “So what were you doing before we saw each other?”
“Old girl was giving me a tour.” Maddie replied. “It was about time i got one.”
The Doctor looked amused. “Did you get far?”
“No.” Maddie sighed.
“What did you see?” He asked.
Maddie looked at him. “Uh, the library and the swimming pool. Other than that, nothing.”
“Really? Then she did planned us to meet in the swimming pool.” The Doctor told her.
“She wanted us to talk.” Maddie comment.
The Doctor looked at her. “And we did talk.”
“We did.” Maddie nodded. “Uh, we are soulmates yeah. You do have a name? Other than the Doctor?” She asked nervous.
“Why this sudden question?” The Doctor asked back to her.
“I’m curious, that’s all.” Maddie replied.
“I do have a name other than the Doctor.” The Doctor told her seriously.
“You do?” Maddie asked surprised.
The Doctor nodded. “I do, but I’m not really to share with you yet. Our bond needs to grow stronger. That’s the first priority.”
Maddie nodded. “I understand, really I do.” Then she took a sip of the tea.
The Doctor’s look soften. “Thank you.”
“Your welcome.” Maddie smiled.

Later Maddie and the Doctor walked into the hallway. “So, what are you going to take me?”
The Doctor looked at her. “I’m going to take you to different places on the ship. Botanical House. Art Gallery. The Observatory. Garage. Laundry Room, boring room. Park. Aquarium. Butterfly Room. Bathrooms, spa and sauna’s. Art Studio. TV Room. Games Room. Theatre.”
“You are going to through al that?” Maddie asked.

Maddie smiled. “Yeah, so where to first?”
“The botanical House.” The Doctor replied. He held out his hand to her.
Maddie smiled and grabbed his hand. “Lovely.”

They arrived at the Botanical House. The Doctor opened the door and they stepped inside. Maddie had her eyes widen. “Wow! The whole Room is full of plants.” She looked at him. “Why do you have a whole Room full of plants?”
“Do I have to have a reason.” The Doctor replied.
“I suppose not.” Maddie comment. “How big is the room?”
The Doctor looked at her. “Very big.”
“Would we get lost?” Maddie asked.
The Doctor nodded. “I would think so yeah.”
“Oh, so we could play hide and seek in it?” Maddie asked surprised.
The Doctor nodded. “Yes, we could.”
“Now?” She asked curious.
The Doctor shook his head. “No. I still have you to show the other rooms.”
“Okay.” She nodded.

“Next is the Butterfly Room.” The Doctor told her as they were close by.
Maddie looked at him. “You have a butterfly room?”

“I think you like this room?” The Doctor asked smiling.

“I think you would be visiting here often?” The Doctor asked.
Maddie nodded. “Yeah, you have so many and all different colours.”
“There are.” The Doctor comment.

They arrived at the Bathrooms, spa and sauna’s. The Doctor opened the door and Maddie peeked inside. “Its really warm here.”
“Oh, that’s because of the spa and the sauna’s.” The Doctor told her.

Later they went back to the kitchen and they drank a cup to tea that the Tardis had made. They sat down and took a biscuit. Maddie was curious. “Did you know my mother?”
“No.” The Doctor shook his head. “Gallifrey had two big cities and many small ones. I could never have met your mother.”
Maddie looked disappointed. “Oh, bummer. But my mother has told about what Gallifrey looked like and that it was a beautiful planet.”
“Yeah.” The Doctor nodded. “It was beautiful planet.”
“It still hurt to talk about it, I assume?” Maddie asked.
The Doctor nodded. “Yeah.”

“Okay.” Maddie nodded. “Take your time.”
The Doctor looked at her, he had already tears in his eyes. “The second sun would rise in the south, and the mountains would shine. The leaves on the trees were silver, and when they caught the light every morning, it looked like a forest on fire. When the autumn came, the breeze would blow through the branches like a song...” Then he talked further al about the planet as Maddie listened to him.
