Epilogue: To the moon and back

To the moon and back Jimin-ah.
To the moon and back Jungkookie.

 
 
"Hyung! Please don't go...." Jungkook whined, following Jimin around their home like a lost puppy.
 
"I have to go Kookie. The producers will seriously kill me if I don't go this time. I've already cancelled five times previously all thanks to you." Jimin said as he playfully swatted at Jungkook's chest, Jungkook using the opportunity to interlace their fingers and pull Jimin closer.
 
Jungkook kissed Jimin's knuckles, caressing his hands tenderly all the while maintaining deep eye contact with Jimin. A pretty blush bloomed on Jimin's face, his smile growing as he bashfully averted his eyes.
 
"Do you really have to go?" Jungkook asked seriously, all of his playfulness gone and replaced with the pure sincerity and gentleness he always treated Jimin with.
 
Jimin cleared his throat, "Yes, I-I have to go." Jimin internally facepalmed for stuttering. It had been six years of them dating, one year of them being engaged and four years of them being happily, blissfully married....and Jimin still stuttered around his husband. He couldn't help it though, Jungkook was always so sweet, caring and loving towards him that he couldn't help but feel overwhelmingly happy and shy. Very painfully shy.
 
"Okay baby, I've packed lunch for you. It's your favourite. Make sure to eat it, okay?" Jungkook pressed kisses to Jimin's forehead, pulling him into a tight hug. "And no overworking yourself. I'll be calling you and texting you, and I'll be coming to pick you up, alright sweetheart?" Jimin nodded his head against Jungkook's neck, his heart filling with warmth.
 
After a little too long of being in eachother's arms, they pulled away from the hug, still sticking close to eachother.
 
"I'll miss you." Jungkook whispered as he cupped Jimin's face with his hands, caressing his face gently as he stared at him with lovesick eyes.
 
Jungkook was so in love with Jimin. They had been together for eleven years, but he still loved Jimin so deeply, so unconditionally. Jungkook's love for his husband never wavered even in the slightest over the years, if anything it only became stronger and stronger. Jungkook only seemed to fall harder and harder for Jimin, and he made sure to show it to Jimin on every given chance. Through his kisses, through his embraces, through his words, through his never-ending commitment and devotion towards Jimin, through his gestures and actions. Through his everything.
 
There was not a single second that Jungkook wasted in not working harder to become worthy of Jimin, in treating Jimin like he deserved the world (which he did), in showering Jimin with love and kisses.
 
Jimin's fond giggles filled the room, making Jungkook's heart flutter. "I'll only be gone for a few hours Ggukie. I'll come back to you very soon, sooner than you think, alright?" Jimin assured as he ran his fingers through Jungkook's hair, making Jungkook close his eyes and smile endearingly.
 
"Still honey. I'll still miss you. Even a second of my life spent without you is absolute torture to me." Jungkook nuzzled his nose against Jimin's.
 
"I love you." Jimin whispered, his eyes sparkling as he looked up at Jungkook, giving him a blinding smile. Jungkook's stomach swarmed with butterflies, his heart stuttering.
 
"I love you more Jimin-ah." Jungkook whispered on Jimin's lips, kissing him right after. They smiled into the kiss, their hearts beating in tandem, sharing the same breath, their souls interwoven.
 
"I can't live without you." Jungkook said as they pulled back from the kiss, leaning his forehead against Jimin's and wrapping his arms around Jimin's waist, pulling him even closer.
 
Jimin's heart ached, Jungkook's words leaving him speechless yet again. In the lieu of an answer, Jimin pulled Jungkook into another kiss, Jungkook kissing him back all too eagerly.
 
"You know what, I'm not going anymore. I'll cancel the meeting." Jimin said as soon as they pulled back.
 
"What? Really?" Jungkook asked with his wide shiny doe eyes, his face glowing with such unadulterated happiness that Jimin's heart swooned.
 
"Yes bun." Jimin laughed adoringly at the pleased bunny grin Jungkook was giving him. "I'll just get a scolding one more time, no big deal. I'd rather stay and spend my time with you anyway." 
 
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Jungkook chanted delightfully as he peppered Jimin's face with innumerable kisses, making Jimin giggle sweetly.
 
"I love you so much." Jungkook said, placing a soft kiss on Jimin's rosy lips. The kiss soon turned passionate, with Jungkook licking into Jimin's mouth. Jimin sucked on Jungkook's tongue, making Jungkook moan unabashedly.
 
"Jungkook!" Jimin squeaked as Jungkook lifted him up and carried him bridal style to their bedroom. 
 
They continued kissing until they entered their bedroom. Jungkook laid Jimin down gently on the bed, still not breaking the kiss. He hovered on top on Jimin, his face breaking into a mesmerised smile at the stunning sight of his husband. Jimin was always so beautiful. 
 
"You're so beautiful, my love." Jungkook leaned in to press a soft kiss on Jimin's lips, later moving to whisper in Jimin's ear, his voice husky, "I don't think I'll be able to hold myself back. We might have to do multiple rounds today baby, just giving you a heads-up." 
 
Jimin's face immediately turned into a shade of crimson red, his eyes not meeting Jungkook's eyes as he whispered in a shy and embarassed voice, "You're crazy Ggukie."
 
"I'm crazy for you, my love. Only you." Jungkook peppered kisses on top of Jimin's bright cheeks, extremely endeared.

After a lot of smooches, kisses, love bites, cuddles, whispering of love confessions and love making : 
 
"And Jimin-ah..."

"Hmm?"
 
"I've always looked at you the way you look at me."
