POV Vegas

Whoever had assigned the two main family bodyguards to tail me, truly was an idiot. Pol was naturally oblivious, and Pete just sucked. I doubt he'd be able to tail someone even if his life depended on it.

I walk leisurely down the street near the Minor family compound with Macau behind me. He swings off a street pole and I smile at the car far to obviously parked ahead of us. "The thing is," I ask Macau. "Do you think they know that we know?" It was one thing to tail someone who knew you were tailing them. It was another to tail someone and think you're getting away with it when you aren't.

I watch out of the corner of my eyes as Pete jolts in his seat when he sees me. Then he scrambles to try to get out of sight and ends up smashing his face into Pol's neck as he sleeps in the passenger seat of their car. At this point it's almost a struggle not to laugh as we pass by. We make it out of earshot before Macau can't hold back anymore.

I smile as he laughs. Then I look down at the bag I have in my hand and an idea comes to mind. "Want to have a little more fun?" I ask Macau.

Macau smirks and tilts his head to agree. "What do you wanna do?"

I hold up the paper sack I have in my hand. "They might need some supplies."

It takes a second for Macau to understand but when finally remembers 'all' the things I bought his face scrunches up as he smiles. He taps my back in a go for it gesture. "I would stay to watch but my friends will be online soon and I'm starving."

We'd gone out mostly to let our tail know where we were. No one would say anything about us going out for a late night snack even if the heir to the main family was currently missing.

I smile and ruffle my brother's hair playfully. "Go then, I'll play on my own." I say. He taps my shoulder goodbye, and then heads for home.

I on the other hand leisurely walk back towards where their vehicle is parked. I can't help but sneer at the car when I see it. The windows weren't even tinted. I could see Pete darting around in his seat as he tried to no doubt figure out where I'd gone. While his tailing skill was non-existent, at least he was determined to follow his orders. I'd begrudgingly give him that.

Just as he seems about to pull out I languidly walk up to the car. So panicked is Pete that he doesn't even see me put my arm on the roof of their car. It takes him a second and then he finally turns to the window.

The second he sees me he lets out an impressive yell while jumping about a foot in the air. I keep my face impassive at his outburst and watch as Pete's smile guard comes out full force.

"Hello, Khun Vegas." He says, his breath stuttering a little. "What a coincidence."

I lift the paper sack I have in my hands up to their window. "Here," I begin, with an even and benign voice. "I see you've been on look out for a while. I'm afraid you might get hungry."

Pete lets out a strained laugh as he takes the paper sack from me. "Thank you." He replies and hands the paper sack over to Pol without taking his eyes off me, like he's afraid the moment he does I'll disappear again.

Part one done, I pull away and walk a few feet farther from the car. It wouldn't take them all that long to find what I'd stashed inside. I reach about six feet and then hear a shout from behind me.

"A condom!"

I smirk to myself and leisurely turn around. I watch Pete from outside of the car. He's holding the box and looking so frightened that I nearly smile in earnest. He looks left and right so wholly unnerved by such a small box.
