When Bad got home, he found Skeppy curled up on the couch. "Hey baby." He greeted him.
"Mn hi."
"You okay?"
'I don't feel good." Skeppy said with a whine.
"Oh no." Bad put away his keys and sat down on the couch. "I saw on the security cameras that you had a visitor, is everything okay?"
"Yeah, that was Pac. I asked him to bring me some stuff. I didn't want to go out tonight with Hani."
"You could've just asked me to pick it up on my way home?" Bad tilted his head.
"I needed it quick."
"Okay." Bad put a hand on Skeppy's back. "If Hani is asleep, let's go to bed now. You should feel better after a little rest." Bad watched Skeppy get up. It took about a second for him to notice the slight bending of abdominal pain. "Oh–" Bad stood up and checked the couch. "Are you menstruating?"
"Dying, more like it."
Bad furrowed his brows, then became concerned. "Do you have sanitary products?"
"Pac brought some..."
Bad blinked slowly, trying to remember how to talk to Skeppy delicately in this situation. "Skeppy, you shouldn't be bleeding. You're consistently getting testosterone shots?"
"Well..." Skeppy walked over to the calendar. "It's been two months..."
"Two months?!" Bad yelped.
Skeppy got his shots at home. It made sense, they could afford the supplies. Bad was a doctor. It took two seconds out of his day to inject Skeppy. But when you have a baby, you forget the basic of things.
Bad walked over and checked the calendar. It had in fact been two months. "Crap...but it should of still taken at least three months. I would've even figured six months. Before you started to experience menstruation again." Bad rubbed his forehead. "Gah, how did we both forget?"
Skeppy shrugged. "We've been too overwhelmed with Hani. Then the break-in."
Bad rubbed his face and breathed out heavy. He felt responsible. After all he was the one that writes the prescription, and goes to collect it. He's the one that schedules injection days on the calendar and administers the hormone. "I'm sorry, sweetheart. We've been too muffined. I can't believe we forgot your medicine." Bad pulled Skeppy in and resisted the urge to squeeze him.
"It's okay..." Skeppy said with a hint of guilt in his voice. He nuzzled Bad's shoulder.
"I'll try to fill a prescription tomorrow, okay? It shouldn't take long to get rid of the bleeding again."
"It's only a little bit, but it hurts."
Bad kissed Skeppy's forehead. "Did you take any Advil or anything?"
"Yeah."
"Okay, let's go to bed now–" Like perfectly timed story magic, Hani woke up and started crying. "You go to bed. I'll get Haniya."

By morning Bad was ready to tape his eyelids shut and never have to open them again.
Hani had a night of no sleep. And when Bad finally got back in bed, Skeppy whined and pressed into him like a wounded animal. By the time Bad rubbed Skeppy's stomach enough to get him asleep, Hani woke up again.
Bad sipped his strong coffee. "I love you two more than anything. But last night was one of the those nights I might've traded you for nickels."
Skeppy rolled his eyes as he rocked the baby. "Bad, my body from my abdomen down is aching.
"I know, Skeppy." Bad yawned and rubbed his eyes. "I'm not saying it's your fault, it was just a lot. Felt like I had two baby girls."
Skeppy scrunched his face and pouted. "For one, I'm not a girl."
"You know what I meant, I'm tired." Bad sipped on the rest of his coffee.
Skeppy walked over and put Haniya in Bad's arms. Then he walked off dragging his feet. That was Bad's hint that Skeppy was upset and would need to be apologized to. But judging by Skeppy's overdramatic "hmf", this was not a serious argument.
Bad stood up with Hani on his hip. He followed his husband's pout to the master bedroom. "S'geppy...are you okay?"
Skeppy got in bed and curled up.
"Are you going to pout now?"
Skeppy nodded.
"You know I didn't mean that, Skeppy. I'm tired. I was just trying to call you a baby." Bad sat on the bed with Hani in his lap. "your dad is a baby, isn't he?" Bad asked the girl, and all she did was put her fingers in her mouth. "I think she's mocking you."
Skeppy smiled a little bit. "Let me be cute and pout."
"But you're cuter when you're happy." Bad rubbdd Skeppy on the back. "I'll get a hot water bottle for your stomach. Call in sick."
"I already texted Cucurucho..." Skeppy rubbed his abdomen. "It hurts so much."
"Well it's your first one in a long time. As soon as I can I'll get your prescription filled and we'll start your injections again."
"Well..." Skeppy rolled onto his back and hugged himself. "I don't want to do my injections again yet."
"Uh...why?" Bad tried to keep his voice neutral. When Skeppy didn't speak, Bad get more concerned. "You know you can tell me whatever it is...do you want to stop taking the hormones?"
"For now..."
"Why?"
Skeppy looked to Haniya, then to Bad.
Bad froze.
Oh no, not again. Already? No way this man wants another baby.
