Kissing Brooklyn gave me butterflies. I swear. It was amazing.

Before I left the room, I smirked and whispered in his ear...

"I think I destroyed you"

I left him standing there, speechless, yet again.

Life was back to normal right now. Or so I thought. The doorbell rang as I walked down the stairs. I ran to it before anyone else and jolted it open.

"Hi" she greeted. She had soft, shiny blonde hair. Beautiful, big green eyes and olive skin. She was wearing a nice black skater skirt with a cropped, tight, small polka dotted black and white top.

"Uh hey, can I help you with anything?" I asked her.

"Yeah... um, do you know if Brooklyn's home?" she asked me, softly.

"Uh... yeah he's upstairs. I'll get him. Wait what's this about?" I asked again.

"Oh... well I just need to speak to him, if that's okay?" she asked, politely.

I nodded and told her to wait at the door as I ran upstairs to grab Brooklyn.

"Round two, babe?" he asked me.

"Nup, there's someone at the door for you" I smirked.

"Who is it?" he asked me.

"Dunno, but she's really pretty" I smiled.

That's when I realized it. What if he liked her instead of me? Wait, does he even know her? I ran after Brooklyn as he got to the door. I hid behind the couch and listened.

"Hey babe" she told him as she kissed his cheek.

"Yeah, hey" he responded, nervously. He checked behind and around him to make sure no one was watching.

"You haven't called me in a while?" she questioned.

"Yeah sorry about that. It's just that Mandy came home and..."

She cut him off.

"I just met her, she seems really nice" she told him.

God now I feel terrible. I now just realized it. I bet he was going out with her while I was in jail.
I walked straight up to the door.

"Hi again" I greeted.
She smiled and waved slightly.
"Brooklyn I need to talk to you for a second" I told him.

I put up my pointer finger and told her we'd be only a minute.

God she was nice.

"Brooklyn, who is that?" I asked.

"I was going out with her a bit when you went away..." he told me.
I have to admit, I was a bit shocked but I don't even care anymore.

"And now you are...?" I asked.

"We are still meant to be dating, but I haven't called her"

"Brooklyn? How could you do that to her? Why wouldn't you call her?" I asked, harshly.

"Because... well you came home and stuff"

"That doesn't mean you ditch her? You have to tell her! Do you wanna be with her?" I asked.

That's when he nodded. HE NODDED. NODDED. HE FUCKING NODDED.

"You what?" I asked.

"I mean..."

"Forget it, okay! Go out with her, she seems nice. Whatever we had is over now anyway. Now go on. Take her out!" I told him, while smiling. But on the inside I was crying.
