I trotted swiper around the arena. I still had twenty minutes until people would show up for the lesson. Mr. Corner had told us we where doing cross country so I was dressed in my best gear.
"Good boy." I said notcing some poles in the arena. I trotted swiper over the poles.
"Working hard?" A voice that I guess was mr. Corners.
"Mhm" I replied pushing swiper into a collected trot.
"Your working hard you should take a break." Mr. Corner said.
"We'll be fine." I replied as I pushed swiper into his flowing canter.

"Hey, have you heard?" Gi asked trotting her horse in. I blinked halting Swiper.
"Alicia got expelled after cheating on a test." Brook told me trotting up. I grinned. After nearly killing two of my horses it was well deserved. Mr. Corner walked in and motioned for us to follow. We all followed him outside a course. The course had jumps that where pretty high.
"These jumps are decked to fold so don't worry if you hit them." I wasn't worried about hitting them, I was worried about hurting Swiper.
"Aella is first, then gi, then Brook, then Heather and finally Alex" mr.corner told us. "You can start when your ready Aella" mr, corner told us  and headed to the end  of the course. I smiled at my friends and got ready.
"Good luck babe." Alex called. Suddenly swiper flung himself into a full gallop and  I was flung backwards. I grabbed the reins and pulled myself forward. I slowed him to a past paced canter as we came to a gate jump. It was over a meter maybe a meter and a half. I collected swiper and rose up in the saddle and he cleared it with ease. I gave him a pat and we came to a river. I pulled him back terrified. He halted. Looked at the water and flung himself over it. I screamed as I was flung out of the saddle but still holding onto the reins. I landed down on his back.
"This is why I don't do hunters." I said and swiper cantered. I loosened the reins letting him stretch out as we came to the next jump. As his front legs took off my rose up on the saddle and we flew over it.
" atta boy" I said breathing deeply. I have him a pat on his neck. I slowed him to a trot. He fought the reins wanting to faster but I needed him to keep his engry. We turned the corner and I pushed him back to a canter. In front of me were multiple bush jumps. I loosened the reins. I rode up on the saddle a little and let him take them at his own pace. We flew over the last one and he bolted into a gallop. I struggled to slow him down. We came to haybale jump and jumped over the side. I steadied myself just before we came to the next jump. We flew over it and came to the last jump. I let him have a long rein and he flew over it. I gave him a massive hug as he stopped. Mr. Corner smiled at me. I got off slowly and took his saddle and saddle pad and let him graze. He was super sweaty and so was I. Hi came out riding her horse smiling. " best. Ride. Ever." Hi said taking off her helmet and cheering. Midnight bobbed his head ready to hi to sleep. She smiled and got off. She went to loosen the girth but he rolled.
" and there goes my new saddle." Hi said pulling up her black mare. Mr. Conner lagged and wrote down some stuff on his clip board. She sighed and dusted Midnight off and met him graze after taking his saddle off. A few minutes later everyone had arrived.
