Tom Riddle x reader ( Mine for Eternity)

{Potions}

She had eaten and now she headed to her first class. Potions. Something that she was most unfamiliar with.

Slytherin had a class with Ravenclaw. Which was supposedly a good thing. Y/n enters the classroom. She bites her lip as she nervously.

 As she looked around and saw Tom, sitting on the first row. She headed toward him.

It would be less awkward sitting next to someone who was in the same house and someone she already knew. 

But as she was about to put her stuff on the table she was Pushed away by another student. A girl. 

As Y/n crumbles to get her balance back. The girl sits next to Tom. She looked at Y/n and had a grinning smile on her face as she said.

" Ah you must be new I am Vivian Brown, I usually sit here because I have bad vision hope you understand."

Vivian had a stupid look on her face as she ruffled her blonde hair and blinked her brown eyes trying to look innocent

 Y/n saw straight through her. She hadn't come here to be pushed around.

The teacher came in and Y/n didn't wanna make a scene so she turned and said. " You know I that Ravenclaw was a house for smart people, but clearly you're not one of them"

 Vivian exhaled angrily. Y/n turned her head to look at her but noticed that Tom was smiling a little. He was looking forward, as he bit his lip to hide the smile. 

Y/n sat down at the nearest available place. Besides Ravenclaw students. The teacher starts teaching. 

" So today we are going to do a base of Polyjuice Potion, so does anyone know what the poison contains?" Teatcesr asked.

Tom raised his hand as did some others. Y/N didn't know the answer so she just tried to suck all the information in. As the teacher pointed to one of the students 

" Yes Oliver," He said. Oliver stood up and started to list the ingredients. " Lacewing flies, leeches and and.....mm" He seemed to forget. 

The teacher looked displeased and grumbled a bit until he asked if anyone else knows better?

Tom raised his hand and listed all the ingredients without thinking.
He looked confident and recited as if they were obvious.

"Lacewing flies, leeches, knotgrass, flixweed, and a hair from the desired form" 

 "Wonderful all correct Riddle," Theatser says looking pleased. 

The day was almost over Y/n had only one class left. Defence Against the Dark Arts. One class that she would certainly be good at.

The lesson was held in the Great Hall. Y/n entered and looked around, A blue apron that had images of the moon and stars was placed on top of the table. Making it look like a stage and benches had been moved away.

 The Great Hall looked more dramatic. it might be because of the darker lighting.



Then all of the students surrounded one table as the teacher stepped on top of it and t started by saying

" Welcome, I hope you all have practiced your skills. Because you will be needing them today as you will be dueling against others." 

Some of the students had a cheerful and a little arrogant look on their faces. While others looked slightly tense.

Teacher "Do we have any volenteres?

....no"

He looked around and sopped on a random person. "Vivian brown," The proffers said pointing at her. Vivian looked a little bit confused as she stepped on the table stage. 

The teacher looked at her and said.
" Well, at least you have the advantage to choose your opponent." Vivian didi't hasitaden on that. As soon as he could find Y/N in the crowd she shouted. 

" Ridvill?" 

Y/n was so ready for this. Vivian had probably chosen her because she that that Y/n didn't know how to duel. Ou how wrong she was. Y/n steps on the states.

Teacher "Wand at the ready" Y/n and Vivian stood facing each other. As Vivian grinned at Y/n but then looked a little confused as Y/n's expression was full of confidence. "Do you think could beat me Ridvill", she hissed. 

Y/N did not respond as they turned and took a few steps forward.

"On the count of a tree cast your charms to disarm your opponent" Theatser instructs. 

One...two....three "Expeliarmos" Vivian shouts as she casts the spell. Y/n brought her wand in front of her face and said "Protego" She looked at Vivian and smirked. My turn she touched while casting the spell

"Incendio"

Vivian didn't have time to protect herself as her robe got on fire. She shouted a little hastily trying to put out the fire with her hands.

The professor pointed his wand in Vivian's direction "Aguamenti" He said as water started pouring all over her.

Y/n's smile, happy at her success.

The professor congratulated Y/N as she went out off the stage. As she did other students started whispering and looking at Y/n in confusion.

"She is from Beauxbatons how did she know how to do that?" One of the students whispered.

 Y/n didn't care 'cause this could be easily explained. anyone could learn how to duel during the holiday right.

Class ended and Y/n walked down the corridor she was suddenly stopped by another student. She turned and looked at a Ravenclaw girl. Who had black hair and blue eyes? She smiled and looked at Y/n.
" Hi Y/n my name is Donna Bones" Y/n was a little bit confused but smiled and said hi back. 

" You were quite good at someone who had never been in a dueling class before. How did you learn all that?"Donna asked. 

 "My cousin taught me" Y/n replied. A lie, but Donna didn't know that. She smiled and hesitated for a bit before asking.

 " would you mind tutoring me for a little bit?" Y/n was surprised and a contemplative expression formed on her face.
She really didn't have time to tutor someone, but making a new friend would be good. So she agreed.

Evening came and Y/n went to the library. She had agreed to teach Donna some of the basic skills in Dueling.

On the way to the library Y/N went past the girl's bathroom, when she suddenly noticed a book lying on the floor. She picked it up. 

Its cover was made of black leather and it had cold details. At the bottom was printed a name.

"Tom Marvolo Riddle. That Slytherin prefect?"

She mutteredhe. As she put the diary in her pocket and went to the library.
