Katara welcomed the warm feeling of the Fire Nation breeze as she sailed in on the Fire Lord's very own ship. Passing the Great Gates of Azulon flickers of seawater sprinkled against her chestnut cheek.

"Welcome," the air temple's newly converted staff greeted us at the dock of the island.
"Lady Suki, Warrior Sokka, and Master Katara please come this way, we have prepared your rooms" a nomad staff exclaimed before starting to guide us, although she stopped before walking too far. "Forgive me but isn't the Fire Lord traveling with you Master Katara? Should we wait?"
Nearly purple in the face my hands immediately went up in defense, shaking side to side, "..uhm...no .. no he's not"

"I see, very well let us move along" I followed behind Sokka and Suki up the long white stone walkway.
"Air Temple Island is so beautiful!" Suki beamed holding Sokka tighter.
"Yeah, Aang really made this place like some kind of sanctuary" Sokka honestly admitted examining.

The staff placed me in the east wing for the women's accommodation, however, Sokka has been permitted to stay with Suki a few doors down given they are already married.
After the staff left me to my room I plopped myself down onto the bed, delighted to have a moment to rest without anyone interfering. The room was bare with only a simple bed and dresser, as I did not expect luxury furniture.
Air Nomads live in the moment with less, only the essentials. Recollecting my time traveling we barely had the essentials, I chuckle to myself thinking back to how much I wish to had these little comforts I could take for granted now. As I opened the straw window coverings I felt a nice breeze flowing in the room, with the early afternoon sun shining down on the small island near Republic City.
*Knock knock* "Come in" I answer looking back to watch the closed door.
"Master Katara now that you settled in Avatar Aang has set up a small early lunch for you all, please join the rest in the main hall when you are ready".
"Thank you," I told to the staff woman as she shut the door.

In the main hall sat Aang, Suki, Sokka, and Toph around a circle table. "Sugar Queen glad to see you're better" Toph declared to the room as I walked in.
"Thanks, Toph " was all I managed to get out.
"Katara it's great to see you! Thank you for coming" Aang said standing up excited to see me. "Please sit" he politely offered.
"Hello everyone," I said sitting down, although I think it was just a nervous reaction since I came with Suki and Sokka.
Aang continued to stand raising his glass before speaking. "thank you all for coming, the last few years have been great for all nations-"
