"Did you have a family?" She asked her partner as they headed down the many layers of stairs. "You know before the whole 'end of the world' thing?" Hyun-su nods, still looking ahead.

"Okay, cool, cool, cool." Looking at the staircase, she sighed, annoyed. "What dickhead put all this string here? Was it the best he could think of?" He looked at her quickly then looked away, avoiding her eye. "Oh, sorry. It's fine, just annoying, you know." He nods silently, continuing the silent walk.

"Soo, you're the strong silent type, huh? Thats the vibe I'm getting, because YOU HAVEN'T FUCKING SAID SOMETHING IN 10 MINUTES." She shoves his shoulder, as he looks at her in shock. She puts her hands up in surrender, glaring at him jokingly.

"Sorry, but I just thought that it needed to be said." He starts to nod before stopping, "Sorry, Ju-na." She smiles in victory at having him say two words, one of which was her name.

"It's fine, I like a man who can listen." She winks at him before moving ahead of him, to the green double doors. "Hurry up, slowpoke, you need to introduce me to your friends." She smiled to herself, seeing a pink tint on his cheeks.

"Don't say you're infected." He says softly before pushing open the doors, holding it open for her to cross through.

"I'm guessing they don't treat you too well because of the whole monster thing?" "No, but it's fine." She nods, "They're just scared. Most of them probably knew someone who turned." She gave him a small smile, waiting for his next instructions.

"Come with me." She follows him towards the waiting area of the hotel area. The meeting area she assumes. "Maybe don't tell them about the stealing. Keep my rep clean, you know." She laughs silently at his nod.

Looking around the room she saw around 15 people, all of which were eyeing Hyun-su suspiciously. "Woah, the room just got a bit colder." She fake shivers and squeezes her friends arm.

"Who's this?" A man approached them. He looked a bit older than her with thin rimmed glasses. She opens her mouth to speak but is interrupted, "Have you checked her before bringing her here?" She nods, annoyed. "Her can speak. Her is not infected." She spoke in a robotic voice, glaring at him.

"Right." He turned back to Hyun-su, pulling him away to talk, leaving her surrounded by unfamiliar faces. "Ju-na?" She looked around in surprise at hearing her name.

"Ji-su?" The girl ran up to her, pulling her into a hug. "I missed you!" Ji-su had been the room with the rammed door. Luckily, she looked fine.

"Where's your family?" She went quiet for a second, thinking of the best answer. "They died in a car crash a couple of days ago." "I'm so sorry." She smiled, nodding.

"So, how long have you been down here?" "A couple of days, I think." She turned seeing someone coming behind her. "Oh, Ju-na, this is Jung Jae-Heon. He saved my life, so now he's stuck with me." She grinned at the man who held out his hand in greeting.

"You're the bible guy, right? I used to see you go to church some days, I worked at the cafe opposite it." "Yeah. That's me." Ju-na smiled, shaking his hand quickly.

"So, is the boss that glasses guy over there?" She pointed at the man and Hyun-su, who kept glancing at her as they spoke. Ji-su nods, rolling her eyes. "That's Lee Eun-Hyeok. He is a kill joy, but we are alive because of him, so whatever."

"Let's hope he let's me into the club, I don't know what I have to do. My food ran out at home, and then Hyun-su brought me here." Ji-su nodded, looking past her at Hyun-su.

"Someone was stealing the food in the convenience store. You wouldn't happen to have any idea what that could be about?" Ju-na frowned, glancing at Jae-hoen before speaking. "Hey now, Ji-su! Are you insinuating that I, an innocent girl, would steal from a store next to a follower of God?" She smiled cheekily at her friend before smiling at the man next to her.

"She doesn't know what she's talking about. I have never stolen. On my mums life." "She's dead, though." She hit her friends shoulder softly, "Well, harsh. You're just gonna have to take my word."

Feeling a tap on her shoulder, she turned to see Hyun-su standing behind her. "Eun-hyeok wants to speak with you." She nodded, smiling at him, following him before turning back to the two behind her.

"Fingers crossed, he doesn't find out about the stealing."
