Stolitz Oneshots

5: Nightmares 💀

Stolas's POV: 

I shot out of bed in a cold sweat, breathing quickly. 
I tried recalling the nightmare I had just had. 

I rubbed my eyes and realised I had just been crying. I wiped my tears and held my head as my breathing slowed.

In my nightmare I died. Of course. I usually have nightmares like these quite often.

This one I got shot in the neck with a holy bullet by someone. I couldn't recognize nor could I recall who it was.

"Stolas?" I heard Blitz behind me. I turned my head and saw Blitz slowly sitting up beside me.

"Oh, I'm sorry darling, did I wake you?" I asked not wanting to worry him. 

"Nah. Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yes I'm fine." I replied. 

"You sure? You're crying." He told me. 

"Oh." I wiped my tears, "Sorry. It's nothing really. You should go back to sleep." I said not wanting to be a burden.
He shook his head and grabbed my hand.

"Tell me what happened." He said and looked in my eyes. 

"It was just a silly, bad dream." I shook it off. 

"What kind of nightmare?" He asked leaning his head on my arm. 

"It's not important."

"Stolas, you were crying. I'm asking for a reason." He said. 

"I... I got shot in the neck by a holy bullet." I said.

"Oh." He said. He probably doesn't know how to respond. He's not the best with this kind of stuff. 

"Can you tell me who it was so I can fucking kill 'em?" He said. I giggled with a hoot and looked him in the eyes.

"I don't know who it was, I didn't seem them." I said with a smile. 

"Ah, damn, that's a shame." He said. He tilted his head and yawned. "You feel better at all?" He asked. 

"Yes, thank you Blitzy." I said. 

"Eh it was nothing." He said and laid back down with me. I cupped his face and kissed him while caressing his face.

"It wasn't just nothing to me." I said when we departed. He looked at me with dilated eyes and a blush. He buried his face in my chest and pulled me close to him. 

"You're being very cute right now." I giggled and held him back while kissing the top of his head.

"I think you got it backwards." He mumbled quietly but just loud enough that I could hear. I felt my heart flutter when I heard that. 

"I'm sorry, I couldn't quite hear you, what was that?" I asked pretending to be oblivious. 

"Nothing." He answered.

"Are you sure?" I asked. He wrapped his tail around mine and started purring quietly. 

"Mm-hmm." He nodded. I laughed quietly to myself.

"Okay, whatever you say Blitzy~" I whispered as he snuggled closer to me with his face nuzzling my neck.
"I love you darling." I whispered to him. The room was filled with the sound of Blitzy's soft rumbling purring progressively getting a little louder while he nuzzled my neck some more.

"Love ya too Bird brain." He said.

I'm planning on writing around 10, 15 maybe 20-ish chapters in this story B4 making another story thing. Again, no clue how often I will update, hopefully not to spread apart. My goal is to do it every other day or every 2 days. If I don't... I'm sorry. I'll probably have a reason.
But for the time being i do have a ton of ideas that i just need the time to write (and school is a thing so theres that) and maybe i'll get some more stuff out swoon >:D
