My Brother's Best Friend

Chapter 6

We're walking upstairs as Sarah stops and turns to me. "Do you think she heard me?" I laugh softly and shake my head no. "I don't think she did." She nods slowly and continues to walk.

We walk back in my room to find Cole and Nova playing it cool. Trying to act like they weren't snooping. I cross my arms and immediately Nova caves. "It was Cole's idea!" He whips around. "We talked about this Nova! Play it cool and don't say anything!" Me and Sarah both laugh as we sit back down on the bed.

"Nova go pick a movie and let's continue what we were doing and have some fun, okay?" She nods happily before practically skipping back to the bed with us. Cole cuddles back into me as I watch Nova get comfortable in Sarah's arms. I smile at them softly, seeing how happy Nova looks in her arms.

After a few hours everyone seems to be getting tired. I stand up to stretch as Cole gets up to head to the bathroom closest to my room. "Alright ladies. There's a spare bedroom next to mine. Sarah you know the rules." She rolls her eyes. "No fucking in the spare bed unless you want to face the consequences." I smile bright as she gives me a sarcastic smile.

Nova turns bright red at the thought. "Don't worry sweetheart. I won't try anything." She smiles and kisses Nova's forehead softly, turning her into a puddle of embarrassment. "You better not." Sarah rolls her eyes and laughs as she stands up slowly, leading Nova to the spare bedroom.

If Sarah means what she said she'll treat her right. Sarah can be a good woman. It's just finding her someone she actually cares for that's the hard part. Cole walks up behind me and begins to kiss my neck softly. "Everyone's awake Cole." He sighs. "Bigger risk, Greater reward?" I raise and eyebrow and shake my head.

I take my shirt off and Cole's eyes go a little wide. "You never told me you got a tattoo. Multiple at that." I laugh softly before turning around to face him. "I started at the end of Sophomore year." I have a tattoo covering both of my upper arms bleeding a bit into my chest area as they aren't completed as well as a sword going down my spine and two daggers on either side of the blade.

I've always worn long sleeve shirts and have never let anyone besides my family see my tattoos. The only exception to that was Sarah. I didn't see a need for anyone to really know. Cole's jaw practically hits the floor. "They make you, like, twenty times more attractive Ren. Why don't you show them off?" I shrug softly. "Never felt a need too. I didn't really want anyone chasing me."

He nods before running his hands along my tattoos. "Are there anymore tattoos?" I shake my head with a smirk. "If I had any more trust me you would've seen them." I shoot him a wink and he turns red in the face.

I laugh softly. Today has been eventful that's for sure. Sarah came over earlier than expected. Cole and Nova are separated now. Cole found out about my tattoos. I let out a soft sigh as I lay down. Cole joins me and cuddles up to me as I message Darrell to go to bed. I kiss Cole's forehead softly as we both drift off to sleep.

I wake up before the sun has even come up. I slowly slip out from under Cole before slowly making my way out the room. Right as I turn around someone bumps into me. I can feel as their ass pressed against me and I bite my lip softly in frustration. They turn around quickly as I flip the light on, thinking it was Darrell. "Darrell what are you doing up so god damn early?"

As I turn to look at Darrell I stare straight down into the eyes of a gorgeous man. I almost tower over him. I stand at about 6'1 and he seems to be only about 5ft tall. His hair is a beautiful strawberry blond and his eyes are a greenish with one eye having a section of brown. Heterochromia. God his eyes are gorgeous. His skin is pale-ish but it compliments him so well.

"I'm sorry Mr Black. Darrell told me you and your wife had left for the weekend. I didn't mean to bump into you." I laugh softly and wipe the drool off his chin. "I'm Remington, his older brother, definitely not his father." He nods quickly and just stares at me. "What's your name?" I put my hands in my pockets as he turns red.

"Aspen. Aspen Huxley, sir." I laugh softly. God he's adorable. "Lover boy found himself a cutie." Sarah smirks and kicks herself off the wall and heads towards the bathroom. Aspen turns bright red. "I'm gonna go back to the room." He can barely make a sentence he's stuttering so bad. God why is he so cute. He practically runs to Darrell's room and closes the door behind him.

"You're smiling like a dork, Ren." I hit her arm softly. "I don't know what you're talking about." She smirks and opens the bathroom door. "You find him adorable. It's all over your face." I roll my eyes and walk to the bathroom closest to Darrell's room. I use the bathroom and wash up before heading out of the bathroom.

I make my way towards my room and Sarah stops me. "Cole likes you. Seems that boy might as well. Don't hurt either of them. Make a good decision." I nod before we part ways. When I walk back into my room I see Cole is finally awake. He flashes me a big smile and opens his arms slightly.

I crawl in between his legs and lay my head on his chest as he runs his fingers through my hair and follows the outline of the sword on my back. I put on a show we both like to watch as Sarah and Nova both walk into my room without knocking. "Boy are we glad you two are dressed." Sarah and I both start laughing as Cole turns red.

They sit on the bed and cuddle up with each other as the four of us start watching the show together. As we're laying there I hear a soft knock on my bedroom door. "Come in." I say softly as I sit up a little and roll over some. Darrell opens the door and smiles. "I was wondering if me and my friend could hangout with the four of you."

Sarah smirks and I laugh softly. "Sure. Grab some snacks and some drinks and come join us." Darrell gets visibly excited again and closes my door as he rushed to get snacks and drinks. In less than 10 minutes Darrell returns with Aspen, holding a bunch of snacks and drinks. "Let's have some fun." He giggles softly as they walk into my room, shutting the door softly behind them. This is going to be one interesting day. That's for sure.
