Katherine woke up to snow falling outside. It was Christmas morning, and she was excited to see what she got. She walked downstairs to where the white as driven snow Christmas tree was. Her husband, Ernie, came down a few minutes after.
She unwrapped her first gift, which was a pair of shiny, black thigh high boots. Her eyes were wide as she saw them.
"Thanks, babe!" Katherine said, as she hugged him.
"You're welcome, sweetheart!" chuckled Ernie. "Merry Christmas!"
"Merry Christmas!" Katherine tried on her boots, over her light blue jeans, and walked in them. This was wonderful Christmas.
