Chapter Six:: Memories

It's the last class and Natsu is still bugging me to tell him who Lucy likes. I threatened to tell Lucy that he likes her if he don't stop, finally, he does. The last bell ring and kids are already ready to leave.

"Don't pack up yet, the last bell hasn't ring, so technically we still have 5 minutes of class, I'll tell you your project you'll work on for the next 3 full classes," the teacher says. I hate those teachers, it's 5 minutes, just let us go already. "With a partner, you will demonstrate what a healthy relationship looks like. And I can't believe I'm doing this, but you can pick your partner."

"Natsu, do you want to be my partner?" Lucy immediately asks, glances at Lisanna and seems relieved that she's asking the guy named Bickslow. "Or, it's okay if you don't."

"Not sure yet," there he goes again, playing hard to get.

"Oh," Lucy's face fell. I sigh, if no one's going to take action, they'll only regret it in the end.

"Okay, that's fine but if you want a partner, I'm free."

"Thanks, I'll think about it."

I decide that it's time someone take action, and that person is gonna be me.

"That's fine Lucy, you don't have to wait for him, I'll be your partner."

Lucy looks at me and smile sadly,

"Okay sure-"

"Ahahahaha- no," Natsu says grabbing her and wrapping his arms around her waist. "I already made up my mind, Luce, you're my partner-" By now Lucy's red as a tomato, looking at Natsu like he's a God or something. "We'll demonstrate what a healthy relationship looks like perfectly. Just you see, Gray Fullbuster."

I roll my eyes. Lucy gulps and excuses herself, saying that she need to go take a drink. Natsu then faces me, eyebrows furrowed and you can just sense the angry aura surrounding him.

"What the hell is your problem?!" He hiss, "You know I like her. Do you like her, huh? Do you like her?! Don't play with her feelings you bastard-"

"You're playing too hard to get, you idiot," I say. "That's not a good idea when it comes to girls. Boys like it when girls play hard to get, but girls hates it."

"What?" He asks, dumbfounded. He then frowns, "How're you so sure?"

"I used to have a lot of girlfriends, I even two-timed two girls before," I cringe at the memory. "That one didn't end very well."

He starts to laugh but stopped himself, "That's not the point! You wanted to be partner with her, you like her. I know you do. Let's do this like men Fullbuster. One on one."

I chuckle, "I didn't want to be partnered with her, I already have a partner."

"Who?"

I stopped, what was I thinking? I didn't even ask her yet, I don't even know if she wants to be partnered up with me but when the teacher said partner up the first thing thought I had my mind is her.

The bell rang but Natsu isn't letting me go that easy. "Tell me so I can make sure that you're hitting on my Lucy!"

"Your Lucy?" I raise an eyebrow.

"I mean-" he stop. "Just answer the damn question."

"Lockser," I reply and he chuckles. "I don't want to be partnered up with Lucy but with Lockser."

I stop at the gate when I hear my phone ring. I look to see who it is just to see that it's from an unknown number.

"Hello?" I ask.
