Sam's POV
I had come back from Y/N's to find Dean in the kitchen drinking coffee. He glanced up at me with a wicked smile, "There he is. Sammy, how'd you go?"
"Not giving details Dean." I said as I stepped over to the coffee machine.
"Ewe, no. Don't want them, just happy for you." He took a sip of his coffee.
I poured myself a drink and joined Dean at the table, "Any news on the demon problem?"
Dean shook his head, "I was thinking that maybe we should track one of the officers, maybe they might lead us to their leader?"
I glared at him with an exasperated look at the use of the words 'lead us to their leader'. He smiled and nodded, "Yeah, you heard me."
"Sure, but can I get a shower first?"
Dean's eyes met mine as a wicked grin crossed his lips, "Sure. Great to see that you were too busy to get one at Y/Ns before you left."
I shook my head, but then remembered something that Y/N and I talked about before I left this morning, "Hey, we haven't heard anything more about the vampires, should we be worrying about them as well?"
Dean shook his head, "I think the demons have either killed them or the vamps moved on."
"That's what I was saying to Y/N, but we don't really know, do we?"
Dean shook his head, "Don't know, don't care. Bigger fish to fry Sammy."
I sighed and got up, taking my coffee with me to get ready.
***(Time skip to three hours later.)***
Dean and I had followed a demon to a warehouse from the police station as we knew they were up to something, but I guess when the search for us had come up empty they had changed plans. We had entered the warehouse just after the police officer and stopped when the voice of a man and woman came to us.
"Crowley was at the station" the man said, and you could hear the disdain.
"Oh, I can't wait until he is dethroned. The rightful King needs to be on the throne."
"If only that were possible. I would be happy to be back in Hell again."
"Yeah, I miss the screams."
The voices fell silent, and Dean looked over at me. I shrugged my shoulders and then we heard another voice, "The girl needs to be feed, I need to go and get something for her to eat. I'll be back."
I meet Dean's eyes and frown, but we both know that it means they have a hostage. I knew then that we had to send the demons back to Hell and save whoever it was that they had.
Dean tapped me on my upper arm and then started walking away. I knew he wanted me to follow him, so I did. We went to a different part of the warehouse, and we drew a devil's trap on the ground. Once the trap was completed, we looked at each other and Dean got ready for the rock, paper, scissors.
I rolled my eyes and got myself ready too. Dean whispered, "One, two, three."
I chose rock and he chose scissors, which was what he always seemed to choose. I went to go, but Dean hit me in the chest and whispered, "Best of three."
I shook my head as I rushed off to get the demons attention. I stepped out from behind one of the shelves and the two demons looked up at me. I turned and started jogging away. Because of my longer legs I didn't run too fast as I had to make sure that they could keep up.
