How it Ends

Y/n pov:

We were flying the rest of the day,  just enjoying the silence. When it got late enough, I had Khane land down for rest.

Night was always my favorite time. Everything gave off a breathtaking glow, and the sky was full of colorful stars and planets.

Although it is gorgeous, night is much more dangerous than day. Having that  in mind, I run over to my little home.

Because I've been put here so long, I need a place where I can put all my random things.

A couple of years ago, I found a clearing in the trees. The trees were all connected, weaving together to make an intricate platform. This is my main home.

Of course, I had other ones. I had to in order toop be able to explore as much as I wanted to. The other ones were never the same, though. They never brought me the feeling of comfort and security as this one does.

I was knocked out of my thoughts when khane bummed I to me on his way up to his branch.

I would never let him sleep away from me. It's not like he wanted to either, so he has his own little area up in the leaves.

When he settled himself, he called out to me, probably in hopes of getting me up quicker.

I chuckled, and I started climbing up the trees.

As I took the final jump, I looked around the area. I had been exploring, and they caused me to almost forget what it looks like.

It's not the cleanest or most organized. There are random weapons, food, and clothes scattered across the floor, but I knew I wouldn't be picking them up any time soon.

It didn't matter because once I woke up, I would just go straight back to exploring and wouldn't even see it.

I walked over to the bed, getting comfortable before u fell into a light sleep.

I was running through the forest. No scratch that, I was sprinting.

While I was hunting, I might have run into an angry thanator. I must be having really shitty luck today because I didn't even get any food!

I guess that's not a maiin concern right now, though, because I very well could die right now.

I don't really know where I'm running to, though. I don't wanna go back home, that's for sure. The trees aren't made cause they can climb the obvious obvious. So I'm just going to keep on running till I come up with a plan.

I could make tsaheylu. I've never had a problem connecting with any animals before.

Come to think of it, I've never had any problems with any animal before. Even the thanators ice run into just look st me before walking away. I really don't like the sudden change. Getting chased isn't fun.

This must be Eywas doing. She wants to lead me somewhere.

'Or it could just be a thanator trying to kill you!' My conscience screamed

No, I refused to think it

I like to think me and Eywa were pretty close. I mean, she kept me alive all these years, so why would she kill me now?

'Or maybe you were wrong. Maybe she doesn't even like you.'

I wanted to laugh at the thought, I was too great not to be liked.

I almost did chuckle, but it came out as a scream when the thanator snapped at me.

The sudden movement threw me off and a tripped onto the floor.

I looked up to see the creature hovering over me. Its eyes pierced deep into me.

"Please don't kill me, please don't kill me," I muttered over and over again.

I really didn't want the last thing I smelt to be thanator breath.

Before it could go any further, there was a green and yellow arrow shot straight into its eye.

The creature cried out in pain before running off.

I lay on the floor for a minute, shocked. I thought i was going to die. Why didn't I die?

When I got my thoughts back together, I jumped up to my feet to see something I wouldn't ever see again

Ahead of me was a beautiful navi with yellow eyes, decorative clothes, and hair just longer than the shoulders.

When she spoke, her voice sounded angelic even though she only said one word,

"Hello."

Ok, I just realised I didn't mention it earlier, but this is pre Jake. Jake will be included in the story, but this is before him. Also, beginnings are so hard to write. I have so many ideas for later on in the story. I know this chapter sucked but it will get better promise. I also made this chapter a little longer. Let me know what lengths you like.
