Sitting in a library, a young girl with braided raven-hair, slumped over in a bored manner. She had been reading these books for hours upon hours, and while she had a fairly good memory and understanding, it could become quite exhausting mentally after a long time sitting and reading.

Having lived in Kamar Taj for two years now, young Ravenna lived under the protection and guardianship of the Ancient One, who took it upon themselves to teach and guide the young girl – she had an interesting lifestyle.

"Raven," violet eyes immediately locked onto the figure of an amused Master Wong, bringing a slight smile to her face. "What have you learned today?"

The soon-to-be pre-teen, Ravenna, huffed with a roll of her eyes, "Just repeating the basics, chi and whatnot."

Master Wong raised a brow, patiently. "I see, it is fundamental to learn the basics and remind ourselves where we start."

Ravenna looked at him, curiously. "I suppose, but a part of me just wants to see what's next, you know? I've been reading for so long, and just feeling a bit burnt."

Wong held a stern expression on his face, hands behind his back as he looked at the young teen. Though, she could see the subtle twitch of his lips, fighting off a grin.

"Why don't I take you to karaoke later," Wong offered, which certainly got the girls attention.

"Yes! That would be awesome! Will I be allowed, though?" she inquired.

"I do not see any problem with it. You deserve a break after all the hard work you've done, young Raven." At that, the two turned to see the approaching Sorcerer Supreme.

"Really?" Ravenna looked rather excited at the idea.

"Of course," the Ancient One smiled. "However, first we must finish your training. Now, come, let's finish this day with your lessons."

At this, Ravenna's eyes lit up wide as she set aside the books, and brushed off her student garments as she proceeded to follow the Sorcerer Supreme. Eager to train more, the girl followed the motions of trying to calm her mind and excitement and proceeded to bow to her teachers.

These days were her favorite, training under the Sorcerer Supreme's strict teachings that had high reward in the long term. Memories of simple and calm days as she stayed within the walls of Kamar Taj, and later the New York Sanctum.

As they entered another room, she realized that the training the Ancient One was referring to was not what she had thought: meditations.

Sighing in defeat, and disappointment, she obeyed regardless.

Especially, controlling her powers; she had been struggling and at times her powers acted out, often dependent on her mood. Hence, the meditations under watch with the Sorcerer Supreme.

At times, they had to interfere and ease Ravenna out of her meditations.

After they were done, Wong came around once more and called for her.

"Alright, let's head out, you will love this place. Even kids your age enjoy it; no doubt you'll make a friend." Wong began. "But after, bed. You have school tomorrow." Wong spoke, having opened a portal to the New York Sanctum.

Quickly, Ravenna stood up, quickly bowing to the Sorcerer Supreme. "Thank you!"

The ancient one smiled, watching as the girl left through the portal, disappearing from view. Before Wong left, the ancient one called for his attention.
