Anima Fatis

What is "soul- fated "?
What does it mean for a soul to be "fated"?

Unique and powerful, there is not much known about souls; yet, everyone, including the supernatural, has one - as far as most know. They are ethereal, capable to connect two or more on a different spiritual and otherworldly level. Rare as it is, being 'soul-fated' meant something different to many; yet, in all ways: the change of ones 'fate'.

Precious and forbidden to interfere with the bonds intertwined with one another. It is viewed as unforgivable, and damaging to one's own existence if to attempt destroying fates chosen bonds.

Why they exist, no one truly knows - only speculation; however, none expected vampires to be capable of being "soul-fated", either. For millenia before vampires existed, it has always been just the werewolves, witches, and humans; initially, believed to keep bloodlines strong or for those believed to be 'worthy'. It was doubted that vampires could have a soul-fated, especially as they were m, technically, 'dead' - a time of passing to join in afterlife's peace. Though far and few - not even a handful - it was unthinkable. It could only mean what all wouldn't have thought possible: vampires have souls, even in their 'death'.

"Soul-fated" - in latin term: anima fatis - to an Original vampire, much less several, seemed like such awful luck, and perhaps, it was. Yet, there is always a reason, and for all existence, always worked out as they should. Unfortunately, not always ending 'happily ever after'. Still, let's see what this means for these souls bonded fates.
