Well we-mostly me- prepared for the raid of Aela's Armory. While I was cutting a place where Landor can hide below the carriage seat, he got bored holding the carriage in place and ran after a deer.
The carriage almost ran me over but luckily I just rolled out of the way. The carriage was going dow the tiny hills of the plains until it finally stopped, because it hit a sleeping bear. I thought elves were grumpy when they woke up, but bears..... Let's just say don't wake them up.
Fortunately, I have gotten used to fighting giants so bears are like bunnies to me. Unfortunately it still broke one of the wheels on the carriage. I pulled out an arrow from my quiver and aimed at his neck. I was about to release the arrow when I saw someone at the corner of my eye.
The person threw a knife at me, but I expertly dodged it. I re-aimed my shot at the person, but he or she or it was gone. I looked around, searching for anything that could be a clue to where this mysterious person was.
Then I heard a woman cue from behind, "What's an elf doing here...."
I turned around, there was a tall black haired woman with jet black armor on. I could tell she was an adventurer or a thief, because that was some nice looki- I mean nice as in effective nice armor.
She then said sauntered up to me, "The forest is a very dangerous place," then she circled me "Even for someone as strong as you..."
I quickly kicked up the dagger and caught it in mid-air, "Does it matter to you?"
She said, "You did just hurt Belo."
I looked around confused then saw the bear and chuckled, "Oh that's cute you named your bear."
She then grabbed the dagger from my hand, "No I meant the dagger."
Well this woman is officially crazy, but no matter what I am killing the bear. I shot it in the neck and tried to end discussion, "Well I will be going now."
She laughed, "You think I don't know?"
I sighed, "Yes it is my wagon, alright!"
She snickered again, "Don't play dumb with me, I know what adventure you are taking. And I want in!"
I lied, "I don't think raiding Alteri's Shop will bring much profit."
She laughed, "You are raiding the Shir La Ti, so don't try it."
I said, "Were you laughing at how dumb you are to think you are going on that adventure?"
She said sadly putting her head on my shoulder, "Am I too fragile for the adventure," then she pushed me away and punched me across the face, "well I am not."
I said rubbing my cheek, "I don't think Landor will like this."
Then she kissed me in the cheek I was rubbing, "Oh c'mon.... Please."
I blushed and without thinking I said, "Yeah, sure."
She smiled and said, "Okay let me help you get the wagon fixed."
After about an hour we got it fixed and the hidden seat was functional.
She then said while I was skinning the bear, "I'll be back, I need to get my supplies."
Well maybe now I can ditch the woman, which I never got her name from. I looked around no sight of her, so I started to quickly push the wagon up the hill. I found Landor sitting down. Well that ended nicely. I lost her and found Landor, that's a double win.
