I genuinely don't remember falling asleep. I was exhausted, sure, but I didn't realize I was so tired that I was on the point of passing out.

But, in my body's defense, I hadn't gotten any sleep the night before last because I was stressing over the stream and trying to throw together a few quotes I may say. I also watched Hamilton like three times that night for inspiration.

Wil said that he wanted to take me to the book store so I would have something to read on the train and I've already used my one free book on audible. Plus, I've read every book we have in the house at least twice. Yes, that includes the magazines and phone books.

"Ready to go?" Wil asked, holding out his arm for me to latch onto. I took his hand and we waved goodbye to Eret who ate a Dino-nugget. I smiled sadly at the fact that I could only eat Mac and cheese if I wanted to eat.

The walk was so incredibly calm. It felt as though we were in a dream, planning on going to grab a book from a store down the road for a large trip to see our friends. And he said we could look for a new sweater for me seeing as the trains are always cold and the bookshop is connected to a thrift store.

As we opened the door a familiar ringing ran through the building filled to the brim with bookshelves and coat racks and boxes. A tall woman stood behind the desk, looking rather bored with her spectacles sitting halfway down her nose bridge.

She looked up at our arrival and motioned at all of the surrounding chaos. There were few papers slipping off the desk and the lady looked half asleep but we still nodded in thanks.

"None of the staffs seen you in awhile, we were getting a tad bit worried." The woman said, sitting back up and shutting her book. I smiled a bit, remembering my time working here and then coming here once a week to see what new books they had and how the employees have been.

"Just a bit sad, that's all." I replied while sifting through a box of books, finding a pretty good copy of Song of Achilles, which was a book I've been meaning to read for a bit. It was a good hard cover and plus it was likely very cheap.

I picked it up and sat it under my arm to continue looking for a few more to pack in my bag for the hike and train ride. The carpet slightly crunched underneath Wil and I's weight, mainly Wilbur's seeing as I weighed a pitiful amount as of right now.

I looked through a few more boxes and bookshelves and eventually found enough books to keep me satisfied. Wil and I then treaded over to the clothing half of it and almost immediately found a perfectly warm and snug sweater for a train ride.

I picked it up off of the rack and took the books plus the sweater to the desk.

"That'll be it, then?" Someone new asked. I realized that the lady and an older employee that I knew, Lewis, had swapped shifts and the newer lady was sitting in that staff room, still pouring over the book that we originally found her with.

"Yup," I muttered, pulling out around twenty pounds. Lewis looked up at my voices finally realizing who I was.

"Y/n! Lord it's been so long since I've seen you around here! How've you been?" He asked, leaning over the desk to give me a quick hug and continued to add up the total amount.

"I've been alright, just a tad bit depressed recently." I replied, watching as Lewis put the sweater and books into a bag. He gave me a light smile and wished me well before we walked out.

It was already pretty dark out by the time we got back home. Around six at night. Mumza and Dadza were back by now and eating some leftover macaroni from lunch after my finale stream.

"How was that little book date with Wil?" Mumza asked, finishing off my bowl Mac and cheese that I didn't finish. I gave her a thumbs up and held up the bag. "What'd you get?"

I took out the few books and the large sweater from the bag. The one book I was excited to read was Song of Achilles and the copy of the book was one of the older editions so it was quite different.

"Oo! Also, Phil and Tommy are going to pick up Techno so he'll be here in around an hour but Wil  said he was turning in for the night and was quite exhausted." Mumza informed me, throwing away the plastic bowl.

I nodded and informed the people still in the living area that I was going to bed. They all bid me goodnight before I went to Wil and I's bed.

Good lord, I was tired again. At least Tech would be here in the morning. Something to look forward to, at least.
