"Hey (Y/N), get up. Class is over."
As the sound of footsteps filled the area, A light filled my eyes as I felt something lightly push me from my left. Looking around, I noticed a bunch of people packing up and leaving this giant lecture hall. Turning to my left, I see a guy with red hair and a grayish black uniform.
Where am I?
...Who am I?
"Dude wake up, you've been asleep this whole class." The red-haired man put a hand on my shoulder. "I know studying has been hard on you and all (Y/N) since we got that math test coming up, but I've told you that you need more sleep or else you won't be able to function."
Hearing that name, It was like a fog cleared and information was jammed straight into my head. "Sorry Marcus, you're right about that. I'll try to get more sleep next time."
Standing up, I saw Marcus start working ahead of me and I slowly followed behind.
But my mind was still racing.
'What is happening to me?' was the one of the many thoughts that was racing through my brain. Half of it was filled with information that seemed to just fit in a way that seemed natural to me while the other half was lost and wondering just what was happening. It was getting terrible and started hurting my brain.
So I took a deep breath.
And I pushed these thoughts aside for now, I'll deal with it all later.
I turned to the redhead beside me. "So what are we doing today?"
Marcus just shrugs. "Well, our next class doesn't happen until 3 hours from now. I guess we could see if Mr. Edwin needs help at his shop and get some food on the way."
"All right, let's go." I walk ahead of Marcus in a random direction, I don't know where I'm going but It felt natural to do this.
"Dude, that's the wrong way."
"...Oh, right."
Marcus scoffs. "Man, you really need to sleep more after the test is over."
I just slowly nodded and followed behind him.

"What's the scientific name of gold?"
"I'm pretty sure it's Aurum."
"Correct."
Sitting down at a table near a card shop by the name of "Ancient Play", Me and Marcus were studying. This test was a lot easier than what I thought, I don't know why my previous self found it so difficult?
Anyways, during this study session I found out a lot about this world and what I'm currently doing right now.
But the most Important thing, I'm in a world where Yu-Gi-Oh is a main part of this world's culture!
This has been a big dream of mine ever since I was young and now I get to live it!
But there's a little bit of a problem...
I um...
I...I don't know how to play the game that well. The only basics I got was from the anime, I never really touched the card game. My parents never allowed me to collect any cards, told me it was just a waste of money.
"Yo." Marcus spoke up, pulling me out of my thoughts. "You wanna duel?"
Again, I never touched the game and I don't know what I'm doing. But this'll be a good learning experience, I think.
"Alright, let's duel!"
