The nightshade! I need him alive!" Ryker shouted, bickering as he pointed an outstretched finger at the black shadow in the arena."Where is the boy! Stop these fights!" he snapped at the head of the dragon fighting event."Don't worry, boss. The boy is fine. He's in a place he can't possibly get away from. And Ryker, please sir, it would be foolish to cancel the games right now. The people here have paid a fortune to see the Nightshade die dramatically, sir." The stranger laughed. Ryker, however, grabbed him by the collar and yelled, "Take me to young Hiccup.""Yes, of course Ryker." He replied placatingly and led him down to the dusty dungeons and cages of the dragon arena.A few steps later, the duo found themselves in ashen gray and freezing cold rooms. Their breath formed small ice clouds in front of their mouths. A fog of foul-smelling fish remains and carcasses enveloped them. The smell of decay wafted in the air and crept into every little crack. Ryker wrinkled his nose in disgust while his companion gasped for breath. He gave him a disapproving look and peered unimpressed into the long, dark corridor covered in cobwebs."Shouldn't the stables be guarded?" Ryker asked in a sharp tone. "Yes, normally, sir." The dragoncatcher replied meekly.Ryker just snorted and pointed his arm in the direction of the corridor.

"Is the boy back there?" He asked him, as if he had forgotten why they had actually climbed down into the dark walls. His companion nodded timidly and, after a warning glance from Ryker, walked quickly ahead.
