Some people were born lucky, they were born into loving families and were surrounded by friends and family who would do anything and were supportive. When anything bad happened, they would rally around each other. But some people unfortunately fate played them a cruel trick, they had no one to rely on even if they were surrounded by people, Lee JongSuk was in the latter category. He was used to relying on himself,he lived with his mother , his mother worked at a bar as an escort , most of the time he never saw her , she worked late and was usually asleep when he woke up in the mornings, the times he did see her, she was usually drinking or drunk and when she drank she got violent. He preferred when she was just neglectful as opposed to being abusive.
Placing his last book in his backpack, he zipped it up and headed out of his bedroom and stepped quietly into the living area . There were empty soju and beer bottles scattered everywhere .JongSuk looked down the hall, Eomma's door was shut , as quietly as he could he crept towards her bedroom and listened, there was no movement or sound which meant she was still sleeping.
He headed into the kitchen and grabbed a trash bag and headed back into the main room and started cleaning everything up as quickly and quietly as he could. He wasn't sure if Eomma had been drinking alone or if she had brought a man home with her, she did that sometimes, he'd wake up to find a strange man in the kitchen, with a hangover demanding hangover soup.
JongSuk tied the bag and placed the bag by the door, there were only two pairs of shoes by the door , which meant that Eomma hadn't bought anyone home last night. He looked towards the clock in the kitchen, it was 7:30 he still had time before he had to get to the bus, he made a pot of hangover soup, grabbed a glass from the cupboard and filled it with water, and set the soup and water on a tray along with a bottle of hangover medicine and headed towards her bedroom, he placed the tray by the door and headed towards the front door, he grabbed his backpack and the trash bag before putting his shoes and jacket on he headed out the door heading towards the stairs, the apartment complex had an elevator, but it was broken so he had to walk from the fourth floor to the ground floor. The bus stop was ten minutes away from the apartment, he was lucky enough to make it on time, some days he was late and had to wait for the next bus.
