Current Time: 2:30 PM.
Monty's POV
I excitedly went over to (Y/N)'s platform after I had powered on. For the first time, she was acting strangely nervous about everything.
"(Y/N)? You okay?" I asked, reaching out to take her hand.
"DON'T HURT HIM!!!!" she suddenly lunged at me, anger and fear written all over her beautiful face.
"(Y/N)! Calm down! It's me!" I shouted, waving my hand in front of her face.
"Oh God! Monty! I'm sorry!" she cried, wrapping her arms around me as she whimpered against my chest.
"Shhhhhhhh, I'm here," I said softly, running my claws down her back and over her wings, which I hadn't noticed until now.
"I met a child, and he's in my chest cavity," (Y/N) said, backing away and opening her chest.
"Hello," the kid said.
"Hey little guy," I said back.
"He's hiding from this 'Security lady,'" (Y/N) informed me. I nodded in understanding.
"You mean Officer Vanessa? I don't blame you, she's a bitch," I said, accidentally cussing even though Gregory was present.
"Monty! There's a child right here!" (Y/N) gasped, placing her hands over Gregory's ears.
"Sorry 'bout that little guy," I said, apologizing for my language.
"Eh, no worries. I didn't even hear the last word anyway," Gregory said.
"So, Monty, now that there's a child in the PizzaPlex, what are we going to do?" (Y/N) asked, worry and concern clearly present in her voice.
"Obviously we'll protect him from anythin' that wants to hurt him," I said, reassuring her.
"Oh no! It's the Security lady! Quick! Hide me!" Gregory shouted, scrambling back into (Y/N)'s chest compartment.
Vanessa's POV
I swear I just heard that stupid kid! I said to myself as I walked towards the last location I knew the kid was.
"Alright Montgomery, where's the child?" I asked the Gator animatronic in a frustrated tone.
"Why the fuck would I know where he is?!" Monty growled at me.
"Don't lie! I heard you talking to him!" I snapped back.
"I ain't lyin' bitch, now get your blonde ass outta here!" the Gator hissed, and I was just about to leave when I saw a new animatronic behind Montgomery.
"Who is that?!" I asked in fear and shock.
"She's new here, but she's just as dangerous as I am," the Gator said, narrowing his eyes at me.
"Yeah whatever. I'm going to keep searching for that little brat," I said before I left.
Monty's POV
"She's gone," I said, stepping back so Gregory could come out.
"Thanks guys. I don't know why she's looking for me," he said, crouching behind (Y/N)'s wing in case Vanessa came back.
"I have a guess," (Y/N) said, her voice sounding much lower than usual.
"Let's hear it," I said.
"You ever heard about those missing kids? Well, back at my old restaurant, the same thing happened. I bet she's got something to do with it. After all, she took everything from me!" (Y/N) said, suddenly growling the last sentence.
I glanced down at Gregory, and he looked just as worried about her as I was. I needed to talk with her in private.
"Hey kid, why don't you go see Fred? He loves havin' children with him," I told him finally, and Gregory nodded.
After Gregory left, I closed the curtains that covered (Y/N)'s platform so I could talk to her.
(Y/N)'s POV
"Tell me everythin' that happened to you," Monty said, sitting down next to me and putting his claws in mine.
"It was her! She's the reason I'm here now! SHE PUT MY OLD BAND MATES OUT OF COMMISSION AND LEFT ME TO DIE!!!!" I roared, smoke coming out my nose in extreme levels.
"She really did that to you?!" Monty asked in shock. I nodded and sniffled.
"All of it, even going as far as trying to kill me herself," I admitted, my voice box starting to glitch out as I began to sob.
She's so angry and sad all at the same time. I just want to erase all of her pain. Monty said to himself as he intertwined his tail with mine.
"(Y/N), after all you've been through, I can't imagine how you're feelin' now. Believe me when I say that I want to help you ease your pain, but I won't do it if you don't want to," he said, resting his head on top of mine.
"Monty," I said, just loud enough for him to hear.
"Hmm?" the Gator replied. Before either of us could do or say anything else, I kissed him. No, not on the cheek, I pressed my lips against his and just hoped he would kiss back.
Monty's POV
She's kissin' me! I screamed happily in my head. I immediately kissed her back and wrapped my tail around her waist, pulling her closer to me.
"You don't know how long I've been waitin' to do that," I said at last after we had pulled away. I noticed that (Y/N) had turned human again, and I wrapped my arms around her protectively.
"Shit, guess that means I have to be your girlfriend now," she said playfully, and I only chuckled in response.
"Only if you want to be," I said, looking away from her. I was surprised to feel (Y/N's) human hands on my face, and I instantly melted into her touch.
"Montgomery Gator, I would be honored to have you as my boyfriend," she said at last, and my tail was wagging faster than it had ever wagged before.
"You won't be disappointed. I'll be the best boyfriend there is, and I won't let anyone or anythin' hurt you," I said, holding her close.
"Can I tell you something Monty?" she asked.
"Anythin' babe," I said in response. I felt (Y/N) kiss me again, this time her human lips were touching my robotic ones.
"I love you Monty," she said, and my animatronic heart leapt out of my chest.
"I love you too (Y/N)," I hummed in response, and I knew that things were only going to get better from here.
