How did we get here {Sanegiyuu}

Shut up

It was any other day for the Hashira. Mitsuri and Obanai were chatting. Gyomei was praying. Kyojuro and Tengen were play fighting. Muichiro was watching clouds. Giyuu was just sitting down reading some book completely silent until he yawned, to
which Sanemi shouted at him

"Shut up!"

Giyuu was confused.. all he did was yawn?? But to avoid confrontation, he decided to just shut up. Then came Shinobu.

"Ara Ara Tomioka-San. All alone again? Why am I not surprised?" She let out a soft chuckle, clear amused. Giyuu, however, was not as amused and rolled his eyes at Shinobu.

"Leave me alone, butterfly." Giyuu mumbled. Shinobu was not impressed, so she kept pushing

"Oh, you're just grumpy because you have no friends, Tomioka! Maybe if you did, you wouldn't be so difficult to talk to." Shinobu was showing clear hostility with a smile, something she had happened to be great at. Of course, Giyuu knew all too well about this.

"Just leave me alone, Kocho. I have no interest in talking to you." Giyuu replied with an emotionless voice, not even bothering to look up from the book he was reading. Shinobu was getting irritated at this point, but not only her.

"I said, shut up!" Sanemi shouted at Giyuu again since he had been talking. He earned a glare from Shinobu, but he didn't care he was sick of hearing Giyuu's voice.

"Who asked you to butt in Shinazugawa?" Shinobu replied, clearly annoyed that her teasing had been interrupted. Giyuu used their (Shinobu and Sanemi) argument as a way to leave. So he swiftly got up and promptly left the room. Mitsuri had waved goodbye, but he didn't notice, so she went back to chatting with Obanai. Soon enough, Shinobu and Sanemi noticed Giyuu was gone

"Tch Coward," Sanemi said with an eye roll. "Always walking away from conflict." He said in annoyance.

"Well, he wouldn't have to avoid conflict if you didn't always start it." Shinobu replied equally annoyed that Giyuu had left.

Giyuu, on the other hand, had decided to walk home to the Water Estate, where he lives alone to finish his book in peace. He couldn't be told to shut up if no one was around to tell him.
