Giyuu was about to leave the practice field when Sanemi stopped him. He assumed that Sanemi was gonna be rude again. After a second, Sanemi finally spoke.

"I hate you." Giyuu wasn't shocked, but he was confused. He just stared at Sanemi with a bank expression before Sanemi continued. "But, you're actually pretty good at being a demon slayer." Giyuu had to suppress his shock. Was this actually happening!? Did Sanemi Shinazugawa just compliment him!? He was stunned for a few seconds.

"Thanks, I actually thought the same about you." Giyuu had to resist a smile, which was something he hadn't needed to do in years. Sanemi was shocked for multiple reasons. One Giyuu had just spoken clearly instead of in a mumble, and two Giyuu just complimented his swordmanship!

"Yeah, whatever, I'm still better than you." Sanemi replied in an arrogant tone. This didn't surprise Giyuu at all, so he just went back to being emotionless. He waved a slight goodbye to Sanemi. He had no reason to, but it seemed polite, and then he walked off.

Once he was out of sight, Sanemi let out a sigh of relief. (Damnit..) he thought (WHY DOES HE LOOK LIKE THAT!?) Sanemi felt his face grow hot. He was so shocked and confused and to make matters worse... Mitsuri saw the whole thing. She runs up behind Sanemi

"OH MY GOD!! OH MY GOD!!" She squealed. "DID THAT JUST HAPPEN!?" She takes a look at Sanemis face before screaming even louder."YOU'RE BLUSHING!?" Sanemi felt his face grow even more hot as he tried to hide the very obvious tomato red. Mitsuri kept squealing in excitement. She grabbed Sanemi's shoulders and started shaking him aggressively. "ASK HIM OUT! ASK HIM OUT!"

"N-NO I DON'T LIKE HIM! YOU'RE DELUSIONAL!" Sanemi protested loudly. Mitsuri finally released him, looking upset.

"You obviously do! So tell me.  When exactly did you fall for him!?" Mitsuri was more excited now than when Obanai asked her out. But it was a good question. When did Sanemi fall for Giyuu?
