Giyuu decided to head to the kitchen to get something to eat after the mission.
He gets to the kitchen, and he meets mitsuri there.
"Hey, Tomioka!" Mitsuri greeted him with a smile. "I heard you had to go on a mission with Sanemi. That must've been hard considering how mean he is to you." Giyuu gave a shrug. He wasn't trying to be mean he just didn't feel like talking, and Mitsuri respected that.
"Want some?" Mitsuri offered him some Sakura Mochi she had been eating. Giyuu nodded and took a bite before mumbling a quiet. "Thanks.."
"No problem, Giyuu!" Mitsuri smiled and left him to eat alone. She knew he usually perfered it that way. Giyuu ate in silence for a bit until Shinobu entered the kitchen and immediately noticed him
"Ara Ara Tomioka-San~ Eating all alone again?" Shinobu said with clear hostility. Giyuu never understood why Shinobu was so mean to him. He had really never done anything. He just decided to ignore her and keep eating.
"I swear, Tomioka, you really know how to get on my nerves." Giyuu could hear the strain in her voice as she tried not to lash out. "You can't ignore me forever, Tomioka~" She was right. Giyuu couldn't ignore her forever, just long enough to get her to leave.
"Fine. Be that way." Shinobu turned around and walked out of the kitchen. Giyuu was right. She would eventually leave. He sighed in relief a little too soon and immediately after Tengen and Kyojuro walk in, being as loud as ever, celebrating another successful mission. Giyuu decided to finish his food outside.
He went outside and sat on the porch, eating his food in silence, happy to finally have some peace. The weather wasn't bad, so he could tolerate being outside. He was eating when he remembered his mission today. He remembered how impressive Sanemis sword skills were and thought about practicing his own, so that's what he did.
