How did we get here {Sanegiyuu}

New Mission

The following day, as luck would have it, Giyuu and Sanemi were assigned on the same mission.

"A mission!? With this coward?! Why can't I just do it solo!?" Sanemi questioned loudly while Giyuu silently accepted his fate.

"Please calm down my child," Kagaya spoke. "I believe that you two have very compatable breathing styles. If you two work together, we can surely reach our goal of killing all demons."

"What about that one demon girl he saved!? What if he goes soft on a demon again?!" Sanemi protested

"We've already discussed that Nezuko Kamado was to be considered as human as the rest of us." Kagay said sternly

"Fine." Sanemi grumbled. He knew better than to upset the master but he hated the idea of working with Giyuu.

"Very well, I'm counting on you two." Kagaya dismissed Sanemi and Giyuu for their mission.

The entire time, Sanemi was mumbling curses and grumbling insults while Giyuu walked silently beside. At one point, a demon had tried to attack them, but Giyuu had swiftly decapitated it. Sanemi was impressed, but he would never admit it. He decided to actually focus on the mission since it was a pretty close call.

They had encountered a pretty strong demon at one point, and just like the master has said, they had worked together to defeat it. Sanemi was impressed by Giyuu's dodging skills, and Giyuu was impressed by Sanemi's sword skills. They never told that to each other, however. Once they completed the mission, they returned back to the butterfly mansion to report to the master.

Saneni was first to speak. "We completed the mission as instructed master."

"Well done, my children." Kagaya responded. "You've proven that you can handle being together on missions." Giyuu and Sanemi bow before leaving the meeting room after being dismissed.
