It's my first shift at Dunder Mifflin Paper Company and I'm excited but also nervous. I park my car into the parking lot and head inside the building. I smile to the security guard and ask if he knows what floor Dunder Mifflin is on, after he tells me the floor number, I thank him and head into the elevator, pressing the button to take me up.
I open the door and head straight to the reception desk. A women with Ginger hair smiles to me as I approach. "Welcome to Dunder Mifflin, I'm Pam, how can I help you today?" "Hi, I'm Jessica Bowman. I'm the new saleswomen, I'm looking for Michael Scott." At the moment the door behind me bursts open as a small man in a suit with black hair comes bouncing towards me with a wide smile. "Howdy, I'm Michael Scott, The regional Manger here at Dunder Mifflin, nice to see you again, let me show you around the office, You have met pam already of course, pretty thing, but we have you now." He puts his arm around my shoulder while giving me a tour, I'm slightly uncomfortable but don't want to say anything as it is only my first day. He introduces me to everyone and they welcome me with warm smiles. After showing me around and all the introductions, he shows me to my desk which is in front of the reception desk, Across from me is the guy I met early. Dwight Schrute, Assistant regional manager or as Michael likes to call it, Assistant to the regional manager. He is slightly strange but I mean come on, aren't we all.
As I am redecorating my new desk, I look ahead of me to see a very tall man with dark brown hair, I haven't met him yet so he must of been in the bathroom or something he heads straight towards me, he sits in the seat to my left and looks over at me with a smile, he leans his hand over to me. "Hi, I'm Jim, Jim Halpert." "Jessica Bowman, I'm the new sales woman nice to met you." We shake hands while smiling at each other.
I didn't know but in that moment, I had just met my best friend. But will we stay as friends or will feelings grow between the two of us?
