Chapter 3 - The Alliance

I've been pretty good so far after the meltdown with Phyllis, Me and Jim are fine, I have accept that he will never feel the same way for me as I do for him and I mean I can't blame him, I haven't exactly told him how I feel. Its been okay though, Health day was bad because even thou it was my parents death day, Dwight was also doing my head in, so I may have pop off at him a bit, I did end up apologising to him and we both talk and I explain why I was grumpy and surprisingly he understand me and accept my apology which was nice.

I'm sitting at my desk, with my hair tie in between my teeth, wanting something to do. When I see the water cooler at Dwight desk, he has been acting strange since I got to work and I really need to know what's going on. I'm now in the party planning community and it's so boring, I don't even know why I joined. Oh I know Phyllis made me. I'm copying files, when Dwight approaches me. He tells me that he thinks it would be a good idea if we joined Alliances, because of the downsizing and that we could help each other out. Now the first few days I got here, Jim always said to me that if Dwight ever offers me something I have to say these exact three words. As soon as Dwight ask if I wanted to form an Alliance with him, my answer 'Absolutely I do.' I have never been more happy in my enter life. He tells me we need to figure out who is vulnerably and who is protected but he makes it very clear that I can't tell no one.

Dwight walks away from me heading into Michael office, I rush over to Jim at his desk, grabs his ear and pull him into the kitchen. "OW! Let go of my ear." "Don't be a baby, I need to tell you something important. Dwight has just asked me to join him in an Alliance and I can not tell no one." "Please, Please tell me you said my three favourite words?" "Absolutely I did." "OMG! I love you right now" He hugs my so tight and lifts me in the air. My body tenses from the words he speaks and puts my back on the ground kissing my forehead. "Um. Okay, we need a plan do you have one?" "Absolutely I do, we need to get Pam involved thou, It's going to be amazing." I know its horrible but I really didn't want her in on this, but looking at how happy Jim was, I couldn't do that to him, so I nod and we head to Pam to tell her everything and form a plan.

Before we can even form a plan, Dwight calls me over into the kitchen to ask if I told anyone, I need to thing of something quick, so I tell him I'm going to using pam for the alliance as she knows the most information in the office and tell him Jim is always with her so I need to be carefully. I let him know that if us three are talking, It is just me trying to get information from them, without even realising what I am doing.

I smile brightly at the camera in front of me. "I should feel bad for what I'm doing right? I just don't simple as that!" The camera pans out to Jim and Pam sitting either side of me with bright smiles on their faces as well. "I have never done pranks on Dwight before it's always Jim and Jess, so I'm super excited." "This is the best day of my life, When Jess told me about it, I knew we had to do something, and the fact that she came up with using Pam. Brilliant! This girl right next to me is actually incredible." I blush and look down at me feet. Jim smiles at the camera. While Pam is looking at Jess with a slight smirk on her face.

I have spent most of the day with Dwight watching everyone in the office, trying to figure out who is important to us, I catch Jim and Pam either together or watching us, I tell Jim that I'm going to try and make Dwight think Toby and Kevin are forming an alliance together and he tells me its a great idea, so I take Dwight to the car park to plant ideas into his head, he gets so angry he kicks my car and the alarm goes off, I turn around trying hard not laugh and fish my keys out to turn the alarm off, as I look up, I see Jim laughing in the window. It's then I have the best idea. I tell Dwight that we need to assume that everyone in the office is forming their own alliance and therefore trying to get us kicked out. When I get back inside I head to the kitchen to make a tea, when Jim and Pam approach me, I tell them what I said and Jim and Pam laugh so hard and Jim ends up kissing me on the cheek and leaving me and pam alone. I blushing so hard that I have to turn around while I play with my hair tie trying to get my mind to focus so I can finish making my tea. "You're in love with him right?" "I have no idea what you're talking about?" "Come on Jess, I can see and I don't think I'm the only one, he clearly doesn't know so why don't you just tell him?" "Pam, I'm not in love with Jim. Okay? So let's stop talking about it." "I never said Jim." "What?" "I never said Jim, I said him, you are the one that said Jim." I scoff at her, grab my tea and head to my desk ready for phase two.
