“I can’t believe you’re trying to run the vampires out, by bringing more here.”Sophie whipped around, facing the last remaining Elder of her coven. “It’s called fighting fire, with fire, Agnes,” she snapped. “Ever heard of it? Marcel and his goonies are out of control, we needed help!”
“And the solution was to bring in these monsters?!” Agnes argued back.
“These aren’t just any vampires, you old crone,” Bonnie said from where she stood. “They’re the Originals. And if I know anything about them, is that they are…reliant.”
Sophie nodded. “See? The Bennett girl knows.
“Call me that one more time and I will turn you, inside out,” Bonnie snapped.
“What makes you think you can control The Hybrid?” Agnes asked.
“Because she can’t,” Elijah said, appearing from the shadows.
Bonnie, for some reason, glanced behind him. Her heart sank when she saw that it was just him, Klaus, nowhere in sight.
“No one can control my brother,” Elijah continued. “I can handle him, to a point. But now that your coven has drawn hie ire, I have but one question.”
“And that is?” Sophie asked.
“What prevents my brother from breaking in here, and tearing you all limb from limb?”
Hayley leaned down to Bonnie. “How in the hell did we end up hooking up with the psycho Mikelson?”
Bonnie shrugged, yet unable to stop her lips from curving into a tiny smirk. “Yeah, I’m wondering what too. Klaus is more likely to kill you all and just act like I don’t exist than to help you.”
Sophie lifted her chin and knelt. She picked up a small, sharp stick, and held it up for all to see. Then, she stuck herself in the palm.
Bonnie yelped as a sudden pain stabbed the center of her hand. Elijah and Hayley jerked around, their eyes fastening upon the small bubble of blood that began to rise from her palm.
“What the hell, you bitch?!” Bonnie growled.
Hayley glared at Sophie and took a step toward her, only to be stopped by Elijah.
“The spell my sister performed, not only confirmed that pregnancy,” Sophie said. “But it linked me, to Bonnie. Wasn’t easy, I’ll tell you that. Some kind of blockage was around her.”
“Yeah, it’s called being the fucking Anchor to the Other Side, Member of the Spirits, and even a Vampire Huntress,” Bonnie hissed.
“Didn’t know you have quite the resume,” Sophie commented. “But as I was saying, Bonnie and I are now linked. So anything, that happens to me, happens to her. Her life is in my hands.”
“So what you’re saying that is I hurt myself, then you feel it too?” Bonnie asked.
Already, ideas were forming in her head, as she could easily heal herself but… she wasn’t so sure about Sophie.
