~Part 5~

I had asked Ryan Sitkowski to take my maternity photos for me. He had never done maternity photos before but I convinced him to do them for me so he could add some to his portfolio. Motionless was currently in the writing stages of a new album. Will was in New Jersey with Lorna working on their new album as well. I told Ryan we would come to him, and he agreed to it after I gave him creative control.

Krystyn got me on a flight to Los Angeles because that's where they were. Will said they needed a mental health break on their studio time and used the break to fly from New Jersey to meet me in L.A. for our photoshoot. I just went with my huge backpack because we would only be there for a few days. Ryan had given me an address so when I found a pet friendly Uber, I put that address in to be taken to. I had no idea where I was going.

I had specifically ordered a female Uber driver and she was super nice. She kept me engaged in conversation during the drive. Loki sat on my lap like a good boy and looked out the window as we drove to wherever we were going on. I asked her how much longer and she told me fifteen minutes. I texted Ryan and told him my ETA. He sent me a smiley face back. Around fifteen minutes later, she pulled up in front of a really nice house.

"Wow," she said.

"I know right?"

"Here, let me help you, Nova," she said and got out.

She came around and opened the door to hold out her hand. I took it and stood up holding Loki in my other arm.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome. Oh, here," she said, bent down and pulled my backpack out of the back seat.

"Nova!"

I turned to see Ryan and Chris coming out of the front door.

"What's up," I said all cheery.

"Here, I'll take that," Chris said to my driver.

She looked over at me and gave me a look. I gave her one back.

"Nova?"

"Yes dear," I asked her.

"You're a photographer, right?"

"I am."

"So, what's up with this," she asked and gave me a look.

"If I told you, I'd have to kill you," I said and winked at her.

"Mind if I get a photo before I go," she asked sweetly.

"With me?"

"Yes, with you, silly girl," she said.

"Oh, yeah, sure. Chris, you wanna jump in the photo with us?"

"Will you," she asked.

"Sure. Why not," he said and put my backpack down.

"Here, I'll take the photo for you," Ryan said.

I made her get in the middle. Ryan did a countdown and took a few shots for her.

"Thank you so much," she said.

"Thank you. Have a good day."

We watched her drive off.

"Chris, you made her day," I said with a chuckle.

"Who me," he asked with a chuckle.

"Okay, the jig is up. Whose home is this?"

"Oh, this is Drew's place."

"Drew Fulk?"

"Yes ma'am."
