Cordelia woke up to a hand brushing hair out of her face. "My love." Her eyes fluttered opened. "Finn." He smiled at her. She looked around her eyebrows furrowing as her memories came rushing back. "Arty, Atlas?" Finnick shook his head. "What happened?" Her memory was slightly blurry. "I remember Katniss shot the forcefield, then I saw Jo and got her tracker out. Then a beam fell and I hit my head, I asked Haymitch what happened and he told me they left them behind I yelled at him and everything went black."

Finnick swallowed. "Artemis, Atlas, and Peeta still had their trackers in. You remember what Plutarch said. They were left there. When you found out you started screaming fighting Haymitch demanding they turn back. Plutarch sedated you. I woke up five minutes later. I tried to argue but they threatened to sedate me and I didn't want you to have to wake up with me still passed out." Cordelia nodded understanding his reasoning. Plutarch entered with a syringe. "Have you told her yet?" He asked. Finnick shook his head. "Give me time." He glared.

"They had Peacekeepers ready, if we did anything Snow didn't approve of. Your family barely made it out." She started shaking her head fear making its way to her stomach. "The Capitol has Annie, Mags, and Jonah." The tear fell and she clutched Finnick's arm. "No." The first one was a whisper the second a scream. "No! No!" She started sobbing and Finnick brought her into his arms as she continued to scream Plutarch left giving the couple privacy. "I've got you." Finnick whispered as he rocked her. The screams turning to sobs Finnick's shirt getting soaked but he didn't say a word. "I got you, we're going to get them back I promise." He kissed her forehead. "Even in a hurricane." He whispered.

There was a tap on the door. Finnick looked up while Cordelia kept her head buried. "We're about to discuss things if you two want to join." Haymitch said softly. Normally he wouldn't have mentioned it knowing what Cordelia was going through but he knew better he'd have his head chopped off if he didn't inform her. She sniffed a bit before nodding. "We'll join." Finnick answered. Haymitch hit the door with a nod before leaving. "But without the boy." Plutarch was saying when the two entered. Finnick and her had changed but the others were still in their outfits having not woken up. Cordelia kept her eyes on the table in front of her.

The doors opened and Katniss charged in with a syringe. "You and a syringe against the Capitol? This is why no one lets you make plans." Haymitch teased pushing her against a wall. "What are you doing with them." Katniss spit out bitterly looking at the two. "Listen Katniss, just listen." Finnick said softly. "We couldn't tell you, Snow was too close." Haymitch started. "Where's Peeta?" She asked looking around. "Now Katniss you were our plan from the very beginning, this is the rebellion and you are the mockingjay."

"We're on our way to 13." Haymitch added. "Where's Peeta." Plutarch took a deep breath. "He still had his tracker in his arm, Cordelia cut yours out." Katniss looked at the woman. She'd always had a sort of fire to her but now she looked detached. Katniss didn't want to know why, it scared her. "Where is Peeta?" She asked again. "The Capitol has him." Katniss lunged for Plutarch, Haymitch barely catching her. "You were supposed to get him out. You promised. You liar." Plutarch used the syringe meant for Cordelia on her. "You're a liar." Katniss half sobbed as she fell to the ground.

A medical person entered and dragged Katniss back. A few minutes of silence passed when the doors opened again this time Johanna walked in. "Where's Artemis?" They didn't even try they just shook their heads. "YOU FUCKER." She grabbed Plutarch's collar and shoved him against the wall. "WHERE THE FUCK IS MY WIFE." Haymitch tried to get the woman off him but she wasn't letting him. "She still had her tracker." Plutarch managed out. Johanna dropped him in shock. "No." It was a whisper she looked at her friends and shook her head. "No." Finnick nodded looking down.

"You only care about your Mockingjay don't you. The rest of us put our lives on the line and you couldn't even get us all out." Her anger turned to Haymitch. She needed someone to blame. "Where's the so called Mockingjay, pregnant or not I'm going to beat her up." Finnick stepped forward. "Johanna." She shook her head. "That's my wife Finnick. My woman. They left her there. Don't." Finnick continued to step forward. "I understand." He started she whipped her head a stray tear falling. "No! You have Cor she's here. My woman is there in the Capitol and I can't protect her." Finnick shook his head. "Jo." But she continued to shake her head.

Cordelia was right behind Finnick. Without thinking she wrapped her arms around Johanna and pulled the younger woman down. "Let go of me." Johanna squirmed. Despite not eating properly Cordelia had retained her strength and with both her arms and legs wrapped around her friend she managed to keep her still. "Cor let me go. You don't understand that's my woman I can't leave her." But Cordelia wouldn't budge. "I'm sorry." Was all she whispered as Johanna's eyes rolled back the drugs Finnick injected finally taking effect. When she went limp Cordelia finally moved. Finnick picked her up and carried her back to the medical area of the hovercraft.

"Beetee won't do anything right?" Plutarch asked rubbing his neck where bruises were forming. Finnick shook his head. "You didn't kill Wiress." Plutarch nodded but was still prepared in case something happened. They waited and when they landed Cordelia ran to her father. "It's okay Princess." He whispered the nickname as his daughter sobbed into his shoulder. "Jonah." She managed out. "He'll be okay, he's strong." Lux whispered patting her back. Cordelia looked up to see the redhead. "Vic."

The woman tried to smile but failed. "I'm so sorry." Cordelia began. But the redhead shook her head. "He wouldn't want you to cry over it. Atlas is strong. They won't break him." Cordelia nodded but neither convinced the other. Johanna stepped out of the hovercraft and grabbed the woman's attention. Cordelia was left to her family as Victoria rushed to Johanna likely hoping the woman would understand her better.

"Where's Mel." Her voice laced with fear. Regina shook her head. Her eyes were red likely due to Annie being taken. "Mel is a medic she has a patient, Gale Hawcorn or something." Luc rolled his eyes at the purposeful mispronunciation. "He had feelings for our Mockjay but they have apparently vanished or something Mel has the details but they're like a thing but not official." Their father rolled his eyes not giving the two attention. "Finnick."

Finnick had always had a soft spot for the Kane patriarch. Even when he was a child Jeraco had treated him like another kid and now after everything to have a father like figure comfort you was the best. Cordelia watched Haymitch step out with Plutarch. She thought her life was no longer in danger when she'd been saved but now she knew, she was just in a different type of arena.

Katniss walked through the hallways a found the room she was looking for, Finnick sat on the bed a rope in his hands. "After the lightning I was paralyzed, I begged them to go back. They have Annie and Mags." A noise got Katniss's attention. Cordelia stepped out. "My brother, Artemis, and Atlas." Katniss felt her anger dissipate they were hurting too. She had one person she cared about there. They had multiple. "I wish they were dead." It was a whisper from Finnick but it got her attention. "I wish they were all dead and we were too."
