"God they give her so much attention." Johanna complained. Katniss had woken up and they were rushing around the teen. Her hearing aid had been replaced. Katniss claimed it worked fine but Cordelia could tell it wasn't as good as the one the Capitol gave her. "You're just upset because you're back in here." Finnick teased. Johanna and Finnick had been released two weeks ago, but three days ago they had to move Johanna back. They heard a knock it was Victoria. "Hey Vicky." The woman smiled, the baby on her hip squealing. "Cowr." Cordelia smiled putting her hands out for the small girl.

"The doctors said Johanna spending time with Leila would be good." Johanna rolled her eyes but took the baby nonetheless. "Well we have a meeting with Coin so have fun." Finnick interlocked their fingers and they walked to the meeting room. "Think she'll agree?" He asked as they neared the room. "Doubt it." Coin was glaring at the two as they entered. "You're late." Cordelia rolled her eyes. Dropping herself next to Gale. Finnick had insisted the male be present. That was the difference, Finnick hated Coin but got in her good books, Cordelia hated Coin and made sure Coin knew it.

"Gabe." The teen smiled. "Carol." Katniss rose and eyebrow not knowing her friend was close with the woman. "Now we can start." Katniss watched Coin glare at Cordelia. The two did not seem to like each other. "Katniss as you know you're the Mockingjay.." Katniss didn't seem to care. "What's happening with those in the Capitol?" Plutarch sighed. "I wish I knew but I have no way of contacting my contacts in the Capitol." Beetee but in. "The Capitol has always suppressed contact between the Districts, but I've managed to break through." Plutarch leaned forward. "That's why we need you, we want you to film what I call propos inspire the Districts, show them what they're fighting for." Katniss put her hands down and leaned forward. "Then you should've saved Peeta."

Cordelia smirked she liked the girl a bit more now. Gale sighed and got ready to follow. Cordelia shook her head stopping him before nodding towards Coin and Plutarch. "The Games destroyed her." Coin argued. "Let her see what they did to twelve." Gale banged his hands on the table. "She just woke up and you expect her to go see her home in pieces?" Coin glared at Gale. "Need I remind you, you take orders soldier, not give them." Gale threw his chair and marched out. "Madam President may we leave?" Coin glared while Plutarch waved them out. Finnick shook his head.

"I have a free hour." She announced. Finnick looked down a frown on his face. "I need to be in the training rooms soon." Cordelia sighed but walked him to the training rooms before wandering around. Cordelia was not surprised to find Katniss talking with Plutarch about leaving. "You think it's stupid." She nodded. "But I get what you're thinking, go I'll take care of Gale."

Cordelia found Finnick and told him about Katniss's plan although slightly upset their time was being taken up he agreed. She gave him a quick peck before making her way to Gale's floor maybe she'd bother him into pulling some pranks with her. "I didn't know." It was her sister. Melody and Gale were sitting on his bed talking in soft voices. Cordelia had expected Gale to go after Katniss and accidentally find out about everything. Maybe he had but Mel had found him angry. "I didn't tell you." There was a laugh. "I'm overreacting aren't I, we're not even together." Melody stood up trying to stop the tears but Gale held her wrist. "Let me go Gale, you obviously still love her." Cordelia felt like she was intruding but stayed ready to comfort her sister if she ran.

"Not that way Mel, please listen." But she continued to fight his grip. Gale pulled her back and wrapped his arms around her. "She's my best friend I'm always going to love her." The first tears started to fall. "Let me go I won't be the second choice." But Gale held on. "But we're both like rain." Cordelia was confused. Rain? She was starting to think Gale had suffered a brain injury. "Love is like a rainbow, and rain needs sunshine for a rainbow and you're my sunshine - that was too cheesy wasn't it?" Melody stopped fighting and turned around to look at him. Cordelia smiled seeing Gale had fixed things. She smiled and left. "You love me." Gale nodded blushing slightly.
