Izuku's POV (actually it changes during the flashback but for now yeah it's the broccoli's pov)
~~~Flashback~~~
Like usual, Izuku was going to spend the night patrolling his corner of the city. Except tonight was different. Something felt off. Not a gut feeling, it wasn't one of those but it just felt off. The vibe of the city was weird. Everything was too silent in the city. There were no weak villains about, no calls for help, no sirens whirling in the distance.
In short it seemed that Akari was a bit too good at his job and cleaned the streets of villains and crime. Except Akari shouldn't be that good at his job right? I mean come on, in the past no matter how many villains Akari caught, there were always more to replace that guy.
It's like you take out one and two more replace it, what were those beasts called again? Um... hydras yeah like hydras they kept coming back in doubles and yeah- looses analogy.
So there was no way that all the villains were caught.
So then why was it so quiet tonight?
Izuku hopped off the small house he was perching atop of and started to wander around the streets. The streets are empty too. No one's out and about. No car's zooming past. What was going on?
Of all days Yuki decided to not show up at work this was one of them?
What illegal gathering was taking place tonight! UGH!!! This was so infuriating, frusturating, demoralizing-
but at the same time kind of fun.
It was a true mystery and excitement.
Izuku continues looking around for any signs of an illegal gathering taking place. Could it be that there was one large villain group that was keeping everything silent? Were they setting up something to trap Izuku or something?
Unfortunately as Izuku soons find out, he's not wrong. As he turns into one of the darker alleys, he sees a large white van parked there. He breathes a sigh of relief glad to see someone out and about. Sometimes when it got really late, it felt like Izuku was the last person left alive and that was really depressing.
The white van was just sitting there looking all innocent and Izuku decides that'll be where he'll perch next as he takes a break. Except the moment he lands on the roof of the vehicle, the metal beneath his feet slowly disintergrates. The damage slowly widdens and Izuku sees a pale hand pressing against the metal of the roof and then the air. The hand was a couple paces away from Izuku, in fact it was strictly in the middle of the car.
(The way the ashes had fallen back then and the way the damage looked, it sort of looked like the one from the UA barrier.)
There were small grunts of frusturation as the hands kept slapping the rest of the roof and more and more of the roof disintergrated to that pale hand until a large hole was visible. From there a man appeared.
With gloves on his destructive hands, the pale-whiteish-blueish haired man appeared. The guy had a hand on his face, obviously fake right? Hahaha. And hands covering the rest of his body.
No need to worry about Mr. Hand Fetish... Izuku thought just relaxing on his side of the roof. He could share his resting spot.
However Mr. Hand Fetish soon pulled himself completely out of the whole he'd created and seated himself a couple of paces away from Izuku.
Izuku who was uncomfortable with facing his back to people turned around and the two (criminals) stared at each other.
"Um. Hey." Izuku says his voice wobbling even with the voice changer on, "Fany meeting you here? Um. Come here often? hahaha."
