Warning : Violence and blood

Izuku's POV

What Stain spoke to the class president was true, Iida was careless when he rushed over here. That was the first of the many mistakes he had made.

But as Izuku peered of the rim of the roof into the abyss below he finally understood what was happening.

The frighteningly bright clarity and simplicity of the situation almost made him laugh. But Izuku was also Akari the now seasoned vigilante and he could keep a laugh to himself.

The small white haired boy was glad that he'd gone on the patrol armed to the teeth with knives, small swords, the occasional gun, grenade, and vials.

Not that Aizawa sensei knew that Izuku was basically a walking armory.

Such was the life of being a quirkless vigilante. You always had to be better armed than the other one.

But as Izuku dropped down into the alley, the world again slowed to a crawl as his mind processed everything.

There were two people in this alley that he had to protect. The first was the paralyzed hero that had been there for a while now, the second was the class president who also happened to be paralyzed.

Izuku roughly estimated at what he thought would be maybe-Stain's quirk and realized that when it came to a fight, Izuku was probably better.

And despite being quirkless, Izuku had other methods up his sleeve to win the match. The only problem, his mind said, was what Iida would see.

In that slow alley way, as warm blood dripped slowly onto the cool concrete, Izuku silently landed behind the villain.

From what he gathered maybe-Stain was no amateur and the moment Izuku hit the ground the villain whirled around to face him, carelessly tossing the injured Iida to the wall.

Iida hit the wall with a sickening thump as the force of maybe-Stain's toss made him suspend in the air against the wall for a few moments before he slid back down onto the ground.

Well Izuku's only problem had been solved by the villain himself...

"And who might you be?" Stain drawled his tounge running over his knives again.

"Someone... no one... everyone?" Izuku asks.

Stain smirks as he says, "Perhaps you're a certain lost boy who fell from the sky... or you're the someone I'm looking for..."

Huh?

Stain sighs, "Sorry that didn't really make sense."

"... Yeah I guess." Izuku says shifting his center of balance.

Izuku was on edge the villain looked like he was ready to attack at any moment and as the minutes passed and their words were exchanged it increasingly felt like Izuku was a mouse and Stain was the cat.

"So... what are you guys doing, like attacking the city and all." Izuku asks, he needed some information if he was going to defeat Stain and then save the city.

"Nothing... everything..." Stain says copying Izuku's earlier statement.

Izuku's mind worked itself into oblivion trying to figure out what exactly the villains were trying to achieve by attacking the city.

There was nothing to steal here, there was only minor heroes...

"You're Stain right?" Izuku asks, heart thundering, this was the missing link he needed...

"Perhaps." Stains says amused as he watched the boy's brain practically whirl.

"..."

Stain had come to the city where there were heroes no one knew about sometimes, he was a hero killer and Izuku had remebered that one of his sleepless nights had been spent researching the victims of the villain's attack.
