Izuku's POV

The week passed by in a quick blur, each day passing in a repetitive unexciting pattern of waking up early in the morning to prepare coffee for his teacher, practicing Aizawa's style and mastering his control over the binding cloth that his teacher favoured. It was a hard task seeing how hard it was to use the cloth, but luckily his previous teacher made sure he was skilled and adept at using almost every weapon.

Which led to Izuku only having to take a couple hours away from his patrol each night to practice a little more.

But that couple of hours could lead to the loss of lives and Izuku didn't know how to feel. He improved at startling rates over his mastery of the binding cloth that Aizawa used, not that the coffee adict knew, since Izuku also worked hard to keep his skills a secret from his teacher.

And so each day he trained and trained and made coffee after coffee for the sleep deprived caterpillar that was a human. His human teacher.

And finally as the week of internships came to a closed end, there was an announcement from Aizawa.

"All right, Aoi." Aizawa says slowly blowing on his still hot cup of coffee that Izuku recently brewed.

"Yes Aizawa sensei?" Izuku asks politely, "What is it?"

Not more coffee. Please don't say make me more coffee. Izuku pleaded to whatever gods watched over coffee making.

Aizawa inhaled the coffee's aroma deeply settling his nerves before saying, "We'll be going to Hosu today to meet up with some of the pros there to patrol with them."

"Hosu?" Izuku wonders, "Isn't that were Iida is?"

"Yes, your classmate Iida is there also and we'll be joining up with him and his mentor Manuel to... like I said patrol together."

Izuku mentally sighs as he forces himself to smile brightly and say, "Of course! That sounds quite educational! I can't wait to see Iida-san again too!"

Aizawa nods, "Yeah, okay let's get going."

"Now?" Izuku asks some of his real emotions lacing its way into his voice.

"Yes, now, we'll need to get there soon so that we can start to patrol with them."

With a glum mental sigh, Izuku packed his (signature) yellow backpuck up for the day trip.

On the train he turns to his sensei who was awkwardly perched next to him and asks, "Why are you so nervous?"

There's a pause and a moment of silence as Aizawa stares out of the train window before saying, "I just have a bad feeling about this that's all."

Izuku stares at his sensei curiously from lowered lashes as he thought. Hmm... Sensei has that feeling too. There's going to be something big happening tonight.

Silence falls over the pair as the rest of the train ride to Hosu is spent in silence. The moment Izuku steps out of the train and onto the metro station he's assaulted by the large blue-haired boy that was his class president.

"I-Iida-san!" Izuku says politefuly, "I didn't know that I was going to see you so soon."

Iida glances at the boy curiously before pushing up his square glasses and saying proudly, "But of course! It wouldn't be very Plus Ultra of heroes if we didn't greet friends at the train station!"

"Of course." Izuku says meekly before telling the engine boy, "Could you perhaps give me some space to move out of the way of the others?"

"OHHHH-" Iida says before he moves out of Izuku's way in a robotic manner.

Aizawa rolls his eyes and Midoriya can hear him mutter something along the lines of, "Maybe dealing with two problem children today is why I had that bad feeling."

While you may hope that to be true, Izuku thought amusedly, There's probably a worse reason to why you're feeling that way. The human gut instinct should never be doubted.

There was something that was going to happen. Izuku was almost sure of it. Manuel a bland, unimpressive looking young man appeared at the exit of the station, out of breath. It seemed that Iida had raced ahead of his poor mentor to reach his teacher and classmate.

"Th-Thank you- you for coming today." Manuel panted. "Iida-kun, why did you run ahead so fast? I told you to stick by me."

"I wanted to greet my classmate and teacher in a very plus ultra way, I'm sorry Manuel-sensei." Iida says lowering his head.

Manuel gave a wane smile before patting the boy's arm, "It's alright, now care to introduce me to your classmate?"

Iida brightened immediately and he started to gesture in his chopped hand motions at Izuku and then back at himself, it was about five minutes before he stopped talking.

The entire time, Izuku looked around the metro station, he was taking note that Hosu city was a popular city, almost as much as Tokyo (Mustafu???)

"... the left side of Hosu where there happens to be more crime, althought a lot of crime actually happens during the night... we never actually know so to be prepared we just kind of patrol... all around." Manuel was speaking again and Izuku jerked his attention away from observing their surroudnings to what the pro hero was saying.

"Right..."

"Let's get started then." Aizawa said, sipping his coffee.

The four started to walk around the left side of the city, and there were a couple of minor crimes such as theft that they stopped.

In due time, night had slowly crept over the city in an inky black darkness that Izuku was well aquainted with.

Manuel politefuly covered a yawn with his hand before asking the two newcommers if they wanted to stop their patrol for a quick meal before they continued and as Izuku was declining, Aizawa like the little traitor he was agreed.

That insane man ordered tea and seeing as how Izuku never had an appetite anymore, he also ordered a tea. They got a lot of weird looks seeing as how they were at a Ramen store and the other two on their patrol team ordered ramen like the normal people they were.

After everyone finished their meals, Manuel and Aizawa lead their students back onto the patrol route.

A small shuddering breath was almost collectively released across the city as everyone was walknig through a back alley to keep an eye out for villains. The small scared breath was inhaled and then exhaled, everyone in the city then waited with a baited breath of what would happen next.

The heroes all froze what they were doing, their students all stopped and looked at the skies.

This was what Izuku had been feeling earlier. This was what he felt was going to happen.

And a new kind of inky darkness swept over everyone's heads.

Because that was when the screaming started.

That was when the fire started to spread.

Didn't edit grammar too much so that'd probably be bad.

I lost like the feeling in my fingers if that makes sense? Did my writing style change too?
