Izuku's POV
"It wasn't scary at all." Izuku kindly informs Aizawa as a blue explosion erupts behind him. The forest burns a bright blue.
Bakugou freely screams to his hearts content in his high girl like voice. Aizawa taps Bakugou gently and he snaps back with a, "AAEEEAEAEEAEA- Don't fucking touch me."
Aizawa and Izuku rolls their eyes thinking that the blue fire is to scare the others before a message revertebrates through their heads.
"Do not panic this is a villain attack. All students in the forest please make your way back to the center of the camp. Me, Pixie-bob, Tiger, and Aizawa will protect you. Vlad-King I trust you to protect all the students that make it." With that the connection cuts off and Aizawa freezes before rushing to the side of Mandalay who had stepped out of the camp and the two started running into the forest. Already 20 or so students had made it back to the camp and Izuku's heart sank as he saw that it was mostly class 1b.
"Go inside to Vlad-King and stay there. Don't move." Aizawa orders as he sprints away. "I'll get the others. This is not a joke okay you two?"
Mandalay's look of panic strikes him as off as he heads towards the room where Vlad-King was tutoring the students who had failed their mid-terms. He kept turning it in his head as he wondered what could be bothering her so much. Sure there was a villain attack but heroes were trained to look calm and collected as to not scare the civilians in danger anymore. So what got Mandalay so twisted up that she looked that terrified. As soon as Izuku and Bakugou arrived in the classroom, Izuku knew. Everyone that was inside were all the kids from UA. But there was another kid here. A kid that was much younger and had punched Izuku in the balls.
Kota~
~~~~~~ Flashback to last night~~~~~~~
Izuku had been up again at an ungodly hour again last night and instead of just endlessly staring at the dark night sky and laying on top of his cabin. No that wouldn't do, instead he decided to explore. He left the campus ground, exploring the neighboring mountain and to his suprise secluded on a little ledge there was a cave with light coming out of it. Thinking there was another that was like him and couldn't sleep, Izuku couldn't help but feel a little excited as he neared the cave.
To his suprsie however there sat the little boy who had punched him in the balls. Kota had his arms wrapped around his little legs and was staring pointlessly into the air. Izuku had dropped in a squatting postion next to Kota suprising the little boy to no end.
"What-?!" He had screeched at an ungodly pitch and it turned even higher when he saw it was Izuku. "Go away."
Kota turned his whole body away from Izuku and Izuku scooched forward curious. Kota reminded him of someone else. The one with silver hair and that precious horn on her head- He couldn't think about her right now, he didn't know if she was safe. When he left he couldn't think about her. He wanted so much to take her with her... but .... Izuku shook his heads and Kota scooched away farther away from him.
"Go away you hero." Kota says spatting out the word "hero."
Izuku cocks his head curiously, "What do you have against heroes. Why do you hate them so much?"
"My parents were heroes..." Kota says before closing his eyes furiously, "Why do I bother. I hate you go away. No matter what I say you'll just tell me you want to be a hero anyway."
Izuku sighs and wraps his arms around his own legs before saying, "I know what happened. Mandalay told me. I just wanted to hear it from you. I'm sorry for your loss."
Kota's eyes glistened with tears as he continued to stare at the inky sky dotted with sparkling white stars. "Shut up." That comes out weaker as he sniffles.
