The old witch of the Kanchenjunga watched them through the magic ball and laughed. She then took the orb to Edward and said, "Do you want to see your father?" Edward asked the woman in surprise, "How do you know my father, I have never met him, and I don't know him?"
"Now you will know him," said the witch with a boisterous laugh, and then pointed the orb at him. Edward saw a man falling to the ground in the snow during a storm. The blood from his head colored the snow which was slowly being covered by more snow.
Edward was sobbing while silently gazing at the orb. He was still unsure of the witch's intentions and the reason she had kidnapped him. "I have never seen that man. According to my mother, my father was killed in the war in Afghanistan," he replied turning to the witch who was looking into his eyes to see the terror in them.
This time the witch shouted angrily. she said, "Your mother, Laura, is a cowardly liar. She killed my daughter for her convenience to marry your father. Now it's my turn to take revenge on my daughter. Have you ever heard of Sophia?"
"No, I haven't heard anything, but my mother didn't kill anyone, you're wrong," Edward replied, looking at her in surprise.
At this time, the witch again shouted angrily, "Your mother must also pay for her crime. She is now in India in a house near the mountains waiting for your father to save you. But this will be her last journey, and soon she will go where my daughter sent her."
Edward has now come to understand that the horrors that had occurred to them in the mountains were all the result of this vengeful old witch who now scared him greatly.
Throughout the witch's entire talk with him, Natasha was hidden in a corner and listening to what they were saying. She, who was in awe of the serpent, understood that Laura, Edward's mother, had killed her mother Sophia because she was in love with Charles, and the witch now intends to kill all three of them with her assistance. She feared for Edward and didn't want him to suffer any harm. She thought about how, out of sight of the witch, she could rescue Edward from that situation.
During the time that Edward was imprisoned in that hellish place, he saw a snake coming towards him in the dim light of the cave and sitting in a corner and watching him, and when it heard the witch's footsteps, it immediately hid in the cracks of the rocks inside the cave. He could not understand why the snake had not bitten him until now.
Natasha saw the witch who, with the aid of a magic orb, turned herself into a stunning woman saying vague and strange words and then went out of the cave in that stormy weather. She was aware that the witch was en route to Charles, and that it would be a while before she came back. While the witch was gone, she stood in front of the magic ball, and using the same words she changed into a human.
While Edward was there, she was not allowed to do this, but now that the witch was gone, she could change into Natasha and go to Edward. When she looked in the mirror, she was very beautiful.
She was about to see Edward when she unexpectedly witnessed Laura in a magic ball hurling a snake with an iron rod outside an apartment. She then noticed Charles standing next to Laura and gazing down the street in shock. Natasha then noticed Sophia, her mother, who was bleeding heavily and lying on the street pavement.
This was the first time she saw her mother in human form. She was a very beautiful woman. Tears dropped from Natasha's eyes. For a moment, she hated Charles and Laura so much that she wanted to go and bite them both, but when she turned back, she saw Edward standing behind her, staring at the magic ball in surprise.
Edward's clothes were dirty, torn, and stinking. He had an extremely dirty head and face. When he saw Natasha with the magic ball, Edward realized everything, but he kept it to himself. He might have felt afraid or thought he was having a nightmare and would soon be awakened.
Natasha was still gazing into Edward's eyes and was looking at him without saying a word. At this moment, Edward said, "I broke the cage and came out. I didn't know you were here."
Natasha was ready for Edward's attack at any moment because he now knew everything. However, Edward combed his hair with his fingers and said, "Would you give me some warm water to clean myself up?" With a smile, Natasha went to the fire that the wizard had lit and put the water container on it to warm it up.
Meanwhile, the witch appeared and hit Charles on the head with his magic stick. With this blow, Charles opened his eyes. He placed a hand on his head before attempting to stand up while saying, "Ouch." He was unable to move as his body was numb from the cold.
He started to stand up when he suddenly realized someone was next to him. He slowly turned to one side. He shouted in fear as soon as he saw Sophia's face, "No, it's not possible."
"Did you think that you would be free from me and have a peaceful life," Sophia grinned at him. "But you did not know that my revenge will be taken. I have you both in my grasp right now. Your crime will be paid for by your son."
Charles, who was scared, said, "My son has nothing to do with your death, leave him alone. But you are alive, aren't you dead?"
"I'm done with you now", Sophia said as she transformed into a frightful old witch and let out a loud laugh. She then drew a circle on the snow around Charles with her magic stick and said, "You will stay here to freeze to death. I must visit Laura." Working with her will take some time. First for her hatred, then for the crime she perpetrated. She must bear a heavy cost.
The witch further said, "Sophia would still be alive today if she had let go of it. She wanted to go back, but she stayed because she loved you. Laura told you she loved you, but she lied. She only wished to stop Sophia from owning you. As you can see, she left you pretty quickly. I now regret but it's too late."
Once she had finished speaking, the witch vanished in the snow and fog. As soon as Charles realized everything, he wanted to leave that place and hurry to the witch's cave at the top of the Kanchenjunga to save his son, but the witch said it was too late.
Charles tried to escape the witch's circle drawn on the snow, but he was unable to do so. In a state of terror, he screamed and cried out for assistance, but no one was there to respond.
