Sophia went to the hospital where Laura worked. While the patients were being visited, she was able to move to the area where Laura was. After that, she was able to enter a room where new linens were kept in a closet without drawing anyone's attention.
She stood by the wall and in a few moments, she transformed into a big black snake and crawled into the linens where she hid.
A little later, Laura came in, humming a song, and threw some dirty linens that she had brought with her into a big green bin that was next to the door. Then she walked to the closet and opened its door to bring out some fresh sheets with her to the patient's room.
Horrified at the sight of a snake, Laura hastily grabbed an iron rod that was on the floor and used to ward off the snake. The rod injured the snake and Laura frantically exited the linen room.
Seeing herself in danger, the snake stopped coming after Laura and sneaked into one of the toilets to change into a human.
Sophia's arm was bleeding and used a handkerchief as a tourniquet to stop further bleeding. She then quickly left the hospital in a taxi to her hotel where she treated her wound.
Laura, who was no longer confident that the hospital was secure, called Charles right away to inform him about the snake that tried to attack her. Charles panicked and instructed her to wait for him in a crowded place.
A detective from the police came by to check the rooms of his friends. He found long black hair in both rooms. The hair was determined to belong to the same person. After a pause, he said, "I was wondering if your friends had a date with a woman in their room?" Charles said in surprise, "I don't know but it's possible."
Once more the detective paused before continuing, "Another important and strange thing I have to say is that after the DNA test of the hair, we came across a strange phenomenon that cannot be explained in any way and does not come with a reason. It belongs to a certain species of snake, the species of which is almost extinct." Charles was going crazy after hearing these words. He couldn't believe it anymore.
Charles called the Indian investigator to inquire about the investigation's status, and whether he had new information or clues. The investigator said, "By the way, I also wanted to call you to ask you or Albert an important question." Without saying anything, he hung up the phone and hurried to the hospital to save Laura from serious danger.
On the way, he remembered the lighter he had seen in Sophia's hand. He had previously seen the same lighter in the hand of the Maharajah. He thought to himself, "Is it possible that the Maharajah is the same snake that killed his friends?"
But the Maharajah was a man while what was found was a woman's hair so it couldn't be him. Then he thought, "What connection could there be between the Maharajah and Sophia? What was the Maharajah's lighter doing in Sophia's hand?"
Charles was struggling with these thoughts when he arrived at the hospital. After parking the car, he hurriedly entered the hospital where Laura was waiting for him. When Laura saw him, she threw herself into his arms in tears. Even the thought of staying in her apartment made her nervous. She was terrified to come to the hospital.
Charles explained to her that he needed to see the detective to learn crucial information and that it would be best if she accompanied him so that she wouldn't be left alone at home. Laura, who was afraid of another attack by the snake, decided to go with Charles to the detective's office.
They went to the apartment on the main street where the detective worked. Upon seeing Charles, the detective asked them to sit in a chair before he could tell them the result of his investigation.
