Chapter 9
Niall dropped me off at my house at around three o'clock. He opened the passenger door for me and took my hand to help me out, even though I 'gracefully' stumbled out. He leaned up against the door with his hands in his pockets.
"I had an amazing time with you today, Laura. I had a good laugh." he said with a chuckle, remembering all the funny things. I laughed too.
"I've never laughed harder. Do you think you might be able to hang tomorrow?" I asked. He blushed and nodded.
"Cool. Give me a call. Don't be too nervous this time." I said with a smile, reminding him about the last phone call. He giggled. Niall walked me to my front door and sloppily held my hand.
"See you tomorrow, Laura." he said as he flashed me a smile. He kissed me on the cheek and walked off, giving me a wave. I smiled and waved back, my hand still tingling at his lingering touch. I went inside the faded green house and shut the door behind me. The slam shook the whole house. I leaned up against the wall, just to gather my thoughts of what just happened. Today was just absoloutly perfect...I wouldn't have changed a thing about it. I was interrupted by my phone buzzing in my back pocket. I pulled it out to find a new text from Niall. I smiled to myself as my heart jumped.
Hey!:) it read. My stomach flipped inside. I was really starting to fall for Niall. Hard. He was everything I wanted...everything I needed. I plopped down on the living room couch and started texting Niall back.
I hope your not texting while driving(;
I immediately started to call up the girls while I still had my phone out. I told them everything.
"Oooh, Laura's in love!" Madi joked. I rolled my eyes.
"Am not! It was barely even a date." I protested, but completely agreed with Madi on the inside.
I was in love with Niall that day. No doubt about it. And the love for him was only going to grow. I ran out of things to do once I hung up on the girls.
I went and looked through my saved photos of One Direction that I had in my phone when I used to be a fangirling fan girl. Oh, the memories. It seems like only a couple days ago I was just a fan to them. Well actually, it was.
I scrolled through the pictures of Niall, my heart skipping a beat at every single one I looked at. I found the perfect picture that just took my breath away, and I desperately saved it as my wallpaper. It was kind of obsessive, but Niall was never going to see it. It's still considered rude to look through people's phones, right? I stared at it for a while, smiling and falling more in love the more I looked at it. I spent the rest of my day on my couch texting my girls, and my new best friend that I was seriously crushing on.

Niall's POV
I checked my phone one last time before driving away from Laura's house.
I hope your not texting while driving(; I smiled to myself and put the keys in the ignition. I had to see this girl again. Soon. I was really starting to fall for her. I didn't want to believe it, though, I tried not to. Obviously she only saw me as a friend and celebrity, nothing more. It was heartbreaking to admit it, but we all knew it was true. If I fell for her, it would only lead to heartbreak for me and probably her, too. I couldn't risk seeing all the hate she'd get. But maybe this was just a silly crush. Once I get rejected, (like always) I'll wake up. I just needed to let it pass. I couldn't stop thinking about her though, so I switched on the radio.

Fanfic"It shouldn't hurt this much for me...to see you kiss another girl." I said between sobs. Niall scooted closer by me, and wrapped his arms around me. I threw my arm across his chest and cried into his shoulder. He rested his head on mine. I felt so...
