"Hello!"
My lungs felt like they'd been collapsed as I grasped trying to adjust my eyes to the darkness.
"Hello!" My voice hurts as I scream out not knowing where I was.I look through turning around and grasping the things around me. Crates filled with animals?
There's one with a note filled with feminine luxuries.I realise I'm sitting in my own metal crate like a freaking animal. Is my hair wet? Half dry starting to frizz a little from my natural curls.
My voice hurts. My lungs feel blocked. But all this cage is doing is moving up. Then the lights start to flash. They start to flash and they keep flashing.
"Mary!"
The random name rolls off my tongue.
I don't know why but it does.
Mary? Is that my name? No that can't be my name. And then more names start flashing through my head.
Paige. Who's Paige?
She's blonde. Is my name Paige? No, my name can't be Paige, can it?More names play through my mind the more I think. Thomas? Who's Thomas?
Avery? Do I know an Avery? But I don't know my name.
But it sounds so familiar.
Blake? That's my name. Blake.
Scott? Is there a Scott in my name?
Blake Paige?
My name is Blake Paige.I continue to look around searching in the metal cage ruffling through the crates trying to find something decent to fight with.
I have no idea what's on the other end of this thing. All of a sudden the crate moves faster the animals noisier until it stops at a fault making me jump.
And I do what I can as I wait for something to attack.I manage to rip off a piece of wood from a crate fisting it in my hands.
And all of a sudden it's suddenly lightness. As these mechanical doors make a gateway for the sun to shine right over me,
And I'm blinded until I fist my newly made weapon in my hands.Trying to adjust my eyes to the sudden sunlight I don't need a shade for myself since about ten or fifteen boys are staring down at me.
I cowardly move myself back and rise to my feet holding it out.So afraid of what they'd do. Terrified that it was weekend me so I stumbled back falling into one of the crates.
"It's a girl!" I hear one of them say and one of them jumps in. Hair covering his eyes with a welcoming smile and lovely blue eyes.
"I'm not gonna hurt you." His accent flys out and my chest puffs up as he holds out his hand waiting for me to take it but I immediately shake my head holding my guard up.
I climb on the crates to get out as the boys surround me laughing and I instantly feel my chest heavy as they all make their remarks against me.
"They sent a girl!"
"I'm calling her-""All you shank shut it." I hear another blonde finally pipe up as I continue to move back. The man clutches his knife as he walks to me.
He shuts them up clearly showing he's in charge.
Am I part of a cult that they're sacrificing?Looking around at the land. Green. Sun. Stone walls.
Ignoring whatever they're saying.
"Hey hey, we're not here to hurt you." The guy says nearing towards me but I keep backing away.Until I bump into something behind me causing me to startle. "Going somewhere greenie?" A tall man towers over me looking down at me. Blonde hair with a tight-lipped smirk.
Then I see it. The crack between the walls.
And I do whatever I can to run. To sprint.
To even scream.
Get myself free."Someone stop her before she gets out!" I hear their yells and I pick my feet up no matter how much I want to stop running.
But before I stop for a moment to catch my breath I see a figure on the other side of the stone wall run so close to me.
